Just me again.

Happy Easter weekend to y’all.

I can’t even remember if I posted about it but the Netflix casting thing I mentioned a couple of weeks ago was for Love is Blind and they never got back to me after the first few calls so I’m assuming my application isn’t going any further, so I’m spilling the beans. Assuming my record disqualifies me from being on a show like that, screw them anyway.

I trained Pull today and added some Kelso shrugs which felt pretty good. Been following a bloke called liftrunbang1 on Instagram and he puts some good material out about hypertrophy training in no-nonsense format, worth a look.

And a spot of evening cardio. Exactly the same calories burned as yesterday strangely.

Not even got anything planned for the long weekend, gonna play it by ear and see what happens. Have a good one though chaps.
Awesome pic mate.

Yes chaps!

6KM recovery run bagged this morning.

Nice heavy push session bagged this afternoon.

HIIT session bagged in the evening.

Diet has been tidied up a bit. Given away my Easter chocolate so it’s not sat around tempting me.

Got a photoshoot with ESN on Friday.

Got an audition to coach HIIT sessions at the studio next Wednesday.

And overall feeling pretty good barring the stomach still being a bit sensitive. But it’ll pass. 💪🏻

Quick flex for the lads:

Not heard from my slave today.

Just gonna chill and watch the finale of Physical 100 in bed in a minute. 😎
I think the truth is mate, that you have the physique that most people aspire for, except the power lifter types of course. Outstanding mate. I've said it so.many times I wish you would compete.

Thank you sir, much appreciated.

Definitely don’t feel like competing today. Stomach was in bits last night. Today I’m taking a complete rest and only having white rice and apple juice to give it some time to settle. Must have some kind of virus or gastritis or something. Proper uncomfortable.

Sorry to hear that buddy, be carefully with the apple juice can be very acidic in quantities, some sort of electrolyte drink may be better and dry toast. Really hope you're back on top soon.

Definitely an improvement. Last night and this morning were rough. Quite painful at times. All I've had is 4 bowls of rice and 1.5 cartons of apple juice. Just tried giving my gut a break basically while still getting some calories in. Don't think I could stomach a shake just now. If I fancy one in the evening, I'll just do hydrolysate with water. But yeah pain has definitely subsided and I can tell I needed this rest. All I've done all day is walk to the shops.

I was back at it today with a gentle push session. Still not 100% but much better overall. Less pain and cramping.

Had some footage in from the ESN videos I did a few weeks back, the lady was a beast!

And finally just a comparison from my first workout since being released til recent.

The final ESN video was posted.

So the 3 posts stitch together across the Instagram grid and make an image, looks proper tidy IMO.

The brand reached out about potential partnership and said they will send some bits over to try out. Sounds interesting.

I did legs and 20 minutes stair master today, first cardio in almost a week and just wanted to ease myself back in after a torrid time. Will take it up a notch tomorrow. 🙏

Going to experiment with Stan Efferding’s vertical diet to see if it helps with gut, digestion, energy levels etc. A lot of it is made up of beef and white rice. A dish called Monster Mash which is basically ground beef, white rice and chicken stock ‘mashed’ together. Made a few batches today and it goes down very easily, so good way to get the calories in for me right/protein in right now and seems to cause minimal impact on my gut. Worth a shot and will report back.

I didn’t take any Var or NPP in a week or more because I figured it was pointless while my stomach was off and training wasn’t at full pelt. Will decide what to do with dosing/cycle next week when I’ve given the new food a chance. Either way, had a good run out of Var and NPP.

Starting a part time gig at one of my gyms tomorrow so I’ll be the first there in the morning opening up. Low-key nervous as it’s the first time in a while I’ll have worked a regular job, but will be some valuable structure for me, a bit of human interaction and will probably open a door here and there to grow my own client base I guess. 🙏 So early night tonight in prep.

Obviously very early days and could be a complete coincidence but my stomach feels more settled already after spending the day eating from vertical diet. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

Literally just had 3 servings of Monster Mash (4 cups dry Jasmine rice, 500g 90/10 minced beef and 3 cups chicken stock divided 3 ways), 2 spinach/orange juice shakes, 2 orange juice/Greek yogurt slurries, 300ml cranberry juice and made up the remaining calories with almonds/blueberries.

Stomach feels pretty settled RN. If it works out and I stick to it long term, I'll grab some iodinized salt and a new omegas supplement.
