Thoughts on the BSL (Basal Metabolic Rate)?

I am just wondering if anyone has ever found this to be helpful at all as a bench mark whether starting a new training regime, nutritional plan and so on.

If I was taking it seriously (lol) I’d just start eating 3500 calories a day, weigh my food out and only eat and drink what’s on the plan.

Do it for 4 weeks and track my weight. I can adjust up or down from there depending on my goal and adjust food to something that suits.

That’s gonna give me a far better indicator than any online calculator or calculation.
