Test E cycle - gyno again?

Hi,

I need your advice again guys.

Let me start with describing what happened during my first test E cycle. After about 3 weeks I started having gyno symptoms (puffy nipples, burning, sensitive etc.) Started taking adex (UGL unfortunately). Don't remember the exact doses, but long story shot it wasn't working. Added nolva, lowered test e dose from 500 pw to about 400mg, stopped HCG and done bloods. By the time I got results I decided to stop cycle early. Results showed low E2 and high prolactin. I tried attacking gyno with ralox after a few weeks, but again no improvement.

Now I'm on my second (first?) cycle, it's been 3 weeks since I started. No HCG this time to minimise high E2 risks. I take 300mg pw (3 shots pw, 100mg each). I thought about taking ralox throughout the cycle but I've heard so many bad things about possible sides (blood clots etc) so decided not to take it unless I have to. Week ago felt my E2 might be elevated due to hot flushes so started tsking 1/4 adex every other day. Blood pressure ok, no other high e2 sides. Unfortunately it looks like my gyno is flaring up. Nipples are getting more puffer and sensitive again. Started taking Nolva 3 days ago and will be taking bloods tomorrow (results on Wed or Thursday most likely).

Do you guys think it might be high prolactin again? And maybe prolactin gyno?( no lactation).
Last time it felt like I'm attacking high e2 but that didn't seem to stop gyno.
This time it feels exactly the same.

I thought about taking bloods tomorrow morning and right after that maybe 1/4 caber?
If my gyno gets worse than it was ill probably have to get it removed which is not ideal...

Sorry for a long post.

It goes without saying that bloods will provide the only answer to the root cause.

In the meantime, nolva at 20mg per day (should prevent further growth if e2 related). P5P to tackle high prolactin. If you had high prl of test only on previous cycle, you may have it again. Await blood results and then treat properly based on findings.

Wait until you get your results before taking caber you might not need it.
You said your prolactin was high last time but how high exactly? Also did you do pre cycle bloods? If your prolactin is indeed high it could be unrelated to the cycle.
Last thing is how lean are you? Your gonna hold water which can hang around your chest if your already holding weight there and it's gonna make your nips more puffy than usual.

Had a mate who's been on and off the juice many years, and later in his usage he ran in to a similar issue, he'd take nolv, arimidex etc etc but it never stopped the gyno that started occurring, he'd even have 12 weeks minimal trt, where everything seemed to have settled but then soon as he upped the doses again back it came, he never ran bloods, now he has gyno and hates it, he must be kicking himself not getting a test!

High prolactin levels can potentially contribute to gynecomastia (gyno). While lactation is a common symptom, it's not always present. It's certainly possible that high prolactin levels are a factor in your case. Taking blood tests to assess your hormone levels is a good step to determine if prolactin is elevated.

As for using cabergoline, it can be effective in reducing prolactin levels.

Regarding raloxifene (ralox), it's primarily used as a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) rather than for addressing prolactin-related gynecomastia. While it may have some benefits, it's important to note that it also carries a risk of side effects, as you mentioned.
In summary, I suggest speaking with a healthcare professional who can analyse your blood test results and get some bloods back

Oka, I've just got results back.
OESTRADIOL 41pmol/L
I was on 1/4 arimidex every other day, but 3 days before my bloods I've upped it to ED (because of gyno symptoms).
So I would say I should go back to 1/4 E2D. Does it sound right?

PROLACTIN is high as I expected
591 miU/L even though I've been on 200-300mg of p5p a day.
I want to take 1/4 caber today. What would you say? Start with that once a week and asses after few weeks?

Thanks
