Advice on quad pain after test 400 injection

So I did my first quad injection last night 1ml of test 400 into my quad, woke up today and feel like I've been shot in the leg, any advice on how to ease the pain? Or do I just have to ride it out.

I normally inject my dealts but don't want scar tissue to build up there so went for quad, will it always be this painful or is it because it's a virgin muscle?

First ever muscle i injected into was my glutes, it didn't hurt much at all, and never has unless i've had bad gear, same with my delts, however the first time i injected my quads i could barely walk! Tried it one more time a while back, same again, so imo mate go with glutes, and don't give me the excuse of "i can't reach" i'm 18 stone and can easily reach my glutes, however i have a big ass!

The first two shots on each side always ache, then your muscle seems to not care. Also, the first time you're nervous and slow and wobbly injecting.

I always kneed the area straight after to disperse the oil a bit. Also, high concentration products like test 400 are more likely to ache a bit, because the test can crash out of the oil and crystalize.

I'd heard NOT to massage the area afterwards as you want it to sit there, unless you're using very short ester/short acting esters (like Prop) Dunno if that is 100% but supposedly getting TRT jabs professionally done they just inject and leave well alone. I haven't massaged and have had zero issues other than when using Enanthate (possibly tail end of that bad Chinese batch) That was causing me issues even jabbing half a ml. Not good when you inject twice a week and each jab took a WEEK to stop hurting! I'm sticking with Cyp.

Update: I injected my glute today, pretty sure I just injected it into fat, wasted a ampule just trying to find the right spot and it was the most awkward place to reach don't think I'll do it there again either 😮‍💨, guess I better get used to doing my quads

No but in all seriousness the area that I can reach probably as about and inch of fat before I get to the muscle, I pushed the needle in as far as I could but can't be sure it went into muscle, I'll just do my dealts and quads surely the muscle will get used to it eventually

I rotate quads for my AAS jabs, 80% of the time no pain at all, 20% very very mild pip, but nothing that bothers or hinders me.

I massage for 10 secs after, I also run hot water over the barrell for 15 secs or so prior to the shot.

Like quads as it's a big muscle, can take a decent amount of oil and very easily accessible and makes aspirating easy aswell.

I’m looking for some information aswell, 2 weeks into glute injections not sure when injecting but waking up the next day in agony? I’m pretty sure I’m doing it in the right spot watched lots of videos of where to do it and how to do it but the pain the next day it gives me is horrible

It's gonna be sore for a while in "virgin" muscle anyway but if it carries on try injecting elsewhere. If your injecting into a glute thats already sore it'll continue to hurt. Nothing much more you can do unfortunately.
Of course it could just be actual pip caused by the gear but not much you can do there either apart from stopping it.

That’s fine then just wanted to make sure this was normal, I’ll try somewhere else, I guess I will get used to this and eventually it won’t be sore?
