etherium I think is the way forward long term, especially now they're adopting a proof of stake concept model. I only have a few coins but on December 1st they're changing their model. I suspect coin price will go up

How many you got?

I read something the other day said if you invested £100 in bitcoins in 2010 it would now be worth £75 million!

2p for bitcoin in 2010.

13,000 quid now.

Saw it drop to 3000 not long ago. Was at 14,000 ish the highest I've seen.

65,000,000 if they were 2p and you spent 100 quid.

That's if they were bang on 13k now.

Bitcoin might rally a bit, but at that price you won't be seeing much of a return unless you've got millions invested.

NIO however, priced at just below 54, is up 2700% on the year.

Probably dollars being Washington post.

Now I've read it, it definitely is dollars.

Surely it's the same for £ as $. If 100$ worth of btc is now worth $75 million , that's an increase of x 750 000.

So over the same period £100 would increase x 750 000 to £75 million.

TBH looking more closely, that article is from 2017 so it's probably several times more now.

I wouldn't be surprised if bitcoin  keeps going up (not that I know much about them) but with the amount of money being printed by central banks at the moment due to the ridiculous reaction to corona.

900 new BTC a day.

Institutional investors, managed funds, ETF’s etc are buying around 1500 a day, plus renewed individual retail interest. Big supply squeeze coming.

Dot Coin & Dash Coin FTW though. 32% interest even before any price appreciation.

I just went on my bitcoin app. Looked at the beginning price. Divided 100 by that price. Gave you X amount. Multiplied that by the cost now and it gave 65,000,000.

I'm not trying to trick you or anything.

T212 sold my NIO at about $19 as they apparently weren’t compliant with some ISA rules.

I didn't think you were!

I was just pointing out that if the claim in the paper was correct - 100$ worth of btc in 2010 was worth $75 million (at the time of article in 2017) it would be exactly the same increase for a £100 worth of btc (x750 , 000 increase)

I think it says in the article , one btc in 2010 was $ 0.003 . If my calculations are correct , that would make £100 worth of bitcoin bought in 2010 at that price now worth somewhere around £630 million...

You can probably verify or correct that....numbers not my strong point...

Any other emerging, speculative tips?

I know you kept banging on about Tesla and I tried to tell you the bubble was about to pop, seems you were correct :thumb (although I still think it’s a bubble).

But I’m ready to listen to your next recommendation.

I already got on Palantir 4 or 5 days ago, up 40% already.
