Dating someone much younger than you

I met this beautiful Greek woman here in Bucharest and she was looking younger than my usual (I'm 34 and I always dated women in their thirties except for a few times but those times wasn't anything serious from both ends)

Long story short we both like each other and we got lot in common but although she is much more mature than other women of her age, she is 20 years old and I'm 34.

Thoughts on dating someone where there is such a big age gap?

Not an issue. 2nd wife was 10 years younger than me. Lived with a girl 13 years younger than me for nearly 6 years and wife number 3 is 17 years younger than me. We've been together nearly 20 years now. Compatibility is down to so many things and age is only a minor one of them.

I always believed that age is just a number, but as I never been down this road myself I guess I was just looking for some feedback :)

Good to know that there are happy couples with big age gaps out there

Dated a girl 16 years younger than me and age wasn't an issue... one year later, apparently it was lol

I've mainly dated younger (av 10yrs) with no problems but at only 20, they'll think they want to settle down but I was proved otherwise.

Best of luck with it mate and my advice is, enjoy it while you can ;)

When I was 34 I was dating a 16 year old. We walked into a bar/restaurant one night holding hands and this bloke at the bar shouted "nonce" at me. Then a couple of other blokes started hurling insults, calling me a peado. It didn't really bother me but my gf got really upset as it was ruining our 10th anniversary of being together.

Sigh... Blue Pill brainwashing in action again. I'm older than you and before this whole corona hysteria started I went on a date with an 18 year old. It's never a problem for women, it's you who makes it an issue and talk yourself out of pussy.

Needless to say, never go the other way. Used up past wall hags are never worth it.

The last sentence I didn't even understand.

I never said it was an issue but whatever you say pal

Couldn't date anyone loads younger than my self . I am 34. The thing that would worry me them wanting to do all the things I am no longer interested in .that I have been done and forgotten about. I know it won't be like that with all but it's what has happened in the past with me going for younger . I tend to go for older women now My current misses is 10 years old than my self . Got a pretty decent chilled out lifestyle

To be fair I always went for women of my same age or a couple of years older, but lately I met a lot of women damaged by previous relationships and it was just dramarama which I don't need. I always been not really considering someone much younger than me, but everyone is different, not everyone feel the need to party until their thirties, it seems that this one she just want to settle and lost the interest for what most of 20 years old aim for, although is early to say, but the start is really promising, I guess that time will tell

depends, on the absolute age too, I couldn't deal with a 20 year old and all her crap. My one is 31, I'm 47 . Once they reach 30 age gap is less important. I don't deal with womans drama and I won't date fatties.

End of the day I wouldn't date the woman my age as most are usually overweight slobs with no energy . Don't care if its shallow or not, it's disgusting looking at fat slob sprawled all over the sofa with a pudgy face and a double chin 90% of blokes are too to be fair. I still train 6 days a week (3/4 weights, 2 cardio ), visible abs, run 10km in 50mins odd minutes and don't sit around on the sofa , get out and do things .

No, in my opinion is not shallow, we tend to date someone that we have some attraction for, I mean character is important yes, but without attraction there can't be anything more.

To be fair is not to throw wind at my windmill but she seems a little more mature than the usual 20 years old, hence why I'm trying, other than the fact that she is really hot.

As long as she has a vagina and Nando's discount card, everything goes.

@IronJohnDoe I guess if I am not wrong that I have read a post for you in this form a very long time ago you were talking about spending honeymoon in Paris!! was that you or I am wrong?

and what happened with that honeymoon
I think you are mistaken.

I been enjoying my single life in Madrid, Warsaw and Bucharest for a little over a year now.

Beside the fact that if I wanted to go on a honeymoon I'd go some tropical places

I'm just repeating stuff i've been reading about from people who really know about this stuff, not found this stuff out for myself obviously I am too young.

If you're not interested in my opinion because of my age i understand that no worries. I probably wouldn't take advice from someone less experienced than me either.

Books I've read where I get my info from:

"The Game" by Neil Strauss
"Practical Female Psychology for the Practical Male" by Joseph South, David Clare
"The Rational Male" by Rollo Tomassi
"The Rational Male - Positive Masculinity" by Rollo Tomassi
"Men on Strike" by Helen Smith
"The Manipulated Man" by Esther Vilar
"No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Robert Glover
"Men Are Like Waffles - Women Are Like Spaghetti" by Bill and Pam Farrell
"Extreme Ownership" by Jocko Willink
"The Undefeated Mind" by Alex Lickerman
"A Guide to the Good Life, The Ancient Art of Stoic Joy" by William B. Irvine
"Emotional Intelligence 2.0" by Travis Bradberry and Jean Greaves
"Verbal Judo" by George Thompson PhD
"The 48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene
"What Women Want When They Test Men" by Bruce Bryans
"Your Brain On Porn" by Gary Wilson
"The Sex God Method" by Daniel Rose
"Sexual Intelligence" by Marty Klein
"The Spiritual Awakening Process" by Mateo Sol and Aletheia Luna
"Live Your Truth" by Kamal Ravikant
"Love Yourself Like Your Life Depend On It" by Kamal Ravikant
"The Millionaire Next Door" by Thomas J. Stanley Ph.D."
"The Way of the Iceman" by Wim Hof and Koen de Jong

Such a waist of time.

Really you think books will help you socially??

Social life can only be understood by experiencing, it can never be learnt by books or Videos unless you lack common sense.

Books are simply that books. You soon will realise in a few years or possibly more depends what you achieve in those years and what life situations you out yourself in and how much travel you do or mixing with other cultures ect you soon see people do things their own way and at many different rates.

suppose these books tell you what age to marry and have kids. Out of interest what career do you hope to go into and what kind of women do you envisage yourself with? You seem like someone with this false idea in your head when you will marry and achieve things so interested to hear your rose tainted view on that purely out of curiosity

I have lived abroad when I was a child for 6 years in asia and I do agree women do their own thing but I think the core psychology is the same.

I am studying engineering at university and I have no idea what woman I want yet I'm only 19.
