Any personal trainers here?

Recommended Posts

I’ve been getting asked by people to train them in exchange for money lately(okay, 1 person asked me but he’s well connected I’m sure he’d refer more people if I helped him become less fat). Also I get asked questions on social media from past acquaintances and more often than not I know the answer and I enjoy explaining things. Bodybuilding has been my life 24/7 pretty much for the past year after all.

So I thought the idea of me teaching people how to get fit and eat healthy for a living sounds so absurd I just have to do it. And so I got the certificates and moving to a bigger town this week to make a start.

I shall endeavour to become the Pavel Tsatsouline of England - me and him have similar origins, same Russian accent, and an obsession with fitness. I’ll specialise in muscle hypertrophy instead of strength though. I believe I have a good shot at this. Not sure if I’ll become a famous figure in the fitness industry like Pavel but I sure am going to make a living out of this.

Physique wise I blow all other personal trainers that I see in gyms out of the water. Few are bigger but they’re not nearly as shredded as I am so they appear smaller. Obviously knowledge and experience are more important than the looks, but the way I see it: if I was going to get a personal trainer, what would make me choose some geeky dude with a funny accent over all other trainers with better people skills and credentials? He’d have to be the largest most shredded mother fucker around, and I’m capable of being that. All else will come with practice. And since I sold porn on the Internet full time for over 10 years of my life I’ve got the skills to build a good presence online.

What do you think? I enquired about this on reddit back when I was in contemplating stage and got positive and encouraging replies. I don’t expect as much positivity from ukm, but in case someone with experience cares to give me advice I’m all ears.

Thanks! :)

PS. I will not consider suggestions to not do it or to f**k off all the way back to Russia or any of the sort. I am fully committed to making England fit again!

Pics of physique, let’s see how fantastic big and shredded you look.

I hope your knowledge stretches further than getting your clients to run a gram of test as a first cycle and end up in a and e asking a forum of strangers if you have an abscess.

In all seriousness if you’re looking into this you really need to be able to show that you can walk the walk. Best example of that would be photographic evidence of a decent off season, into prep for completion and stage pics, followed by a successful post show rebound.

if you can’t show that how am I supposed to know that you actually have a clue what you’re talking about before handing over my hard earned?

Certainly my plan going forward with the Nutrition. Get a good qualification to be an Evidence Based Practitioner & advise clients on supplementation & provide them with codes to buy discounted products.

OP - another serial essay writer; where do they find the time to fit in workouts too?

Cause they’re always on their phones when they have clients.

Really bothers me.

I call bullshit. Seeing as myself Or no one has recognised you yet... and we are all perverted filth bags here. Was probably gay porn though wasn’t it?  In which case you’re excused as we’re only into trannies here.

Glad to know the 3g of Tren was utter bullshit though! You come across as a total ball sack so it’s hard to tell if serious or just a t**t.

Yes, it does sound absurd as ‘fit and healthy’ is not taking 1000mcg of testosterone or 3gms of tren.

Take yourself off the gear and see how good you look. Then, be less arrogant, especially in thinking that you’re better than everyone because you’re not. Again, just being blunt with you.

Being the biggest, most shredded would not be my choice in a PT. Wouldn’t even be a choice. I’d steer well clear. Puffed up juicers are hilarious especially when they are PT’s.

i’m going to invite a very dear friend of @js77 into this conversation to ask his view. He and JS go way back and used to train together.

His name in the one and only dancing, delightful @daringhorse who loves to break down UKM members personalities as he has studied counselling. What ‘studied counselling’ means I don’t really know but would consider he’s studied it for a year.

Dancing Harse, thoughts on the above statement by Wavefunction. You could peruse some of his other posts today for some background but knowing you..... you won’t need that.

I’m starting to think that 9/10 threads on here are simply just to provoke, as they are clearly aimed at winding people up, albeit with a dose of potential realism. I think this is what they call trolls and this place is full of em.

At least with the conspiracy theory s**t those loonies are genuinely putting across their obscure and deluded beliefs. Post like this confuse me, what is it setting out to achieve , either you are being genuine and your arrogance is off the charts and your delusions of being a PT off the back of a years experience in the gym with wanky results heavily dependant on ridiculous amounts of gear, or it’s a windup to Purposely provoke abuse so you can sit back and laugh at how you’ve got everyone’s backs up with a bit of bullshit text. I dunno, either way I think you’re a bit of a c**t

Not really. There is more to fitness than bodybuilding,, so you don't have to be a bodybuilding competitor to be a personal trainer, though looking good would help him to sell his training. Tons of people workout just to get healthy. and decrease their waist, so that they feel better about themselves .

As for OP and the post, if that is him on his profile, get a personal trainer!

Transsexual porn, actually. Thai ladyboys mostly. But that’s not the point.
