Juices for Chronic Fatigue

Recommended Posts

I am looking for a juice (not steroids), or something I can mix with water, that can help with chronic fatigue (clear toxins from the body).

I am WFH and feel wiped out towards the end of the week despite not actually having crazy hours or anything (I just think a lot and get a lot done in the day without realising).

I saw a chronic fatigue doctor who provided a long list of homeopathic medicines but it seems like a lot and pricey.

When I burn out if I nap or sleep longer and then wake up, it is like nothing happened and I feel alive and well. I also changed to a standing desk which has helped. But I can get away with a nap or longer sleep at home, but this won’t work long term especially when I have to commute to the office. Now even getting the underground for a blood test and then working means I am flat out by EOD (mentally, not necessarily physically).

My mind is racing but body can’t keep up hence I have these crashes. But I can’t get it into sync either so need to improve my body lol.

‘Clearing toxins’ is what your liver does. Detox solutions are often scams.

how often do you get out of the house for a walk or some other exercise?

Daily I walk for up to 1 hour and have a standing desk but don’t usually stand still.

I used to gym often but can’t at the moment. Chronic fatigue is something I’ve had for the past few years tbf despite gym and clean diet.

I need a stronger body that doesn’t tire so quickly. Sleep does resolve things but I can’t always be resting either.

In my experience, no meds are really going to help with CFS, yes you can do a detox, then you could try a Super B Complex which is high potency B vitamins which helps with the reductions of tiredness and fatigue (if your pee turns green, stop), but in reality a healthy lifestyle is the only maintainable option...

Clean diet is important, processed and junk food will add to fatigue. Also drink plenty of water.

Excess weight/high body fat can cause fatigue, so regular exercise is a must especially if working from home, but don't over exert.

You can add in basic supps like magnesium, vitamin D3 & K2, vitamin C and zinc to help.

Have little to no alcohol, avoid prescription meds like antidepressants, benzos and steer clear of weed, as all adds to fatigue.

Destress yourself everyday, whether that's via meditation or just chilling out watching tv.

Most important is get yourself into a routine, if you keep things simple it alleviates pressures on the mind.

Hope that helps.

Yeah it’s tricky. Am finding I need a few hours of chilling at least before sleep to help. But sometimes it’s tricky because WFH.
I eat/drink clean, plenty of water, no alcohol or drugs, taking vitamins etc still getting this wipeouts.

Has your doctor done full bloods, thyroid okay? folic acid levels okay?

Switching the mind off can be difficult; stressful job, stressful relationship, stressful lifestyle, all adds to it.

Yup blood work recently done and all is ok.

I swapped jobs to an easier one with better WLB. I’m not in a relationship. Life is chill otherwise. I just have burnouts probably once a month and sleep resolves it but this is not ideal long term.

I did see a chronic fatigue specialist doc who listed a bunch of homeopathic medicines but I’m not positive that is wise or proven. Clearing toxins sounded like a good idea (but tbh I have water daily, now even greens in my water and what not) and I think this is sufficient for flushing me out. But came on here to see if there was more I could do.

I had another wipeout today. Was able to work for a few hours this morning and fell asleep for a few hours. Now I am fine. It is strange as I had a pretty chill weekend. Wonder what is going on?

Do you have any other symptoms apart from the fatigue, like trouble concentrating at times/brain fog, pain in muscles/joints, poor temperature control, heightened sensitivity to heat, light, smells or noise?

Get checked for sleep apnea

I'm normal weight and I have it, my fatigue has gone with my CPAP mask

I checked and I don’t have it.

Any anxiety going on OP? Might be worth getting a sleep tracker app, to see if your sleep is disturbed.

Not that I’m aware of.

I had a sleep study and nothing came up.
If I sleep well, once awake, I am perfectly fine.
I think I just get exhausted if I push my brain too much because I’m over doing it without realising.
The standing desk has helped somewhat though.

Yes. I didn’t buy it though. Read the ingredients and am already taking most things like fish oil, multivitamins, super greens  etc

I did and they said it’s just chronic fatigue. Have to just manage it. Did full blood work everything is fine (iron also).

Ere, read this before you next go to sleep - it’s a psychological trick in that nonsense poems will more or less short circuit your over thinking Brain, and quieten it down (because it can’t make sense of it)

On the Ning Nang Nong
Where the Cows go Bong!
and the monkeys all say BOO!
There's a Nong Nang Ning
Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots jibber jabber joo.
On the Nong Ning Nang
All the mice go Clang
And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
So its Ning Nang Nong
Cows go Bong!
Nong Nang Ning
Trees go ping
Nong Ning Nang
The mice go Clang
What a noisy place to belong
is the Ning Nang Ning Nang Nong!!
