I'd love to do this

Recommended Posts

Such a dickhead thing to do but man I'd save so much money. Basically converting a car to look like another one. I'd be too embarrassed when people ask me about my car/complimenting it

So anyway, you could buy an old porsche 996 for like £10-12k and convert it to look like a newer 991 for a few extra grands (not much)

Another conversion

I still dream of buying an MR2 and making it look like a Ferrari

Mate,  i remember those!! They were legendary.

Many moons ago a mate at college converted a 1.1 Escort to look pretty much identical to an RS Turbo. Even had the full Recaro interior and the usual exhaust the size of a dustbin.

You could comfortably overtake him at the pace of a brisk walk.

I would prefer to have a car that looks  pretty  innocuous but goes like the proverbial sh*t off a shovel.

Mate of my dad's did that in the 80's. Took the back seats out of a VW Beetle and put a Porshe engine in it.
