Have you ever thumped anyone

Recommended Posts

At school this one kid was constantly chatting s**t about me and agreed to fight me. What an idiot he was a few inches shorter and quite fat. I punched him a good few times and he didn''t get a single punch on target. The next day he came in with two black eyes and we both got suspended.

I had a fight at school one lunchtime and our form teacher found out about it, made us put on boxing gloves and have a second fight in the boys changing room

Sounds like something the PE teacher in the film Kes would do!

Our woodwork teacher would literally punch us in the gut if we did anything wrong.  The black lad didn't even need to do anything wrong before he got punched. These days he'd be sacked. In those days he got promoted to Head of Middle School.

Throwing a punch is ok... but actually catching one, makes the ‘thrower’ think twice! Especially whilst staring Into their eyes and being silent... they s**t themselves at what might happen next :D

I was born in the wrong generation, I was just counting money like 60 quid and they searched me because they thought i was selling drugs and I was only 14 at the time never touched them.

From a kid through to mid 20s used to fight quite a lot from school to pubs and clubs.  But then started martial arts and tried hard to keep it in the gym /ring.

Got hit in the nose with a beer bottle at about 24  still can't breath through it 30 years later.

Apart from in gym. Last threw a punch in anger about 5 years ago.

You could count on one hand the amount of scuffles I’ve had in my entire life including school. Never been one for fighting and never had any reason to. I laid out a kid who was bullying me at school once. I waited round a corner and took him by surprise.

I’ll ask my mum to join ukm. She’d tell the best stories. I saw her punch 2 blokes at a football match. When she worked as a traffic warden she twatted 2 people in separate incidents. She also belted this bloke in a pub. Bloke in question was my form tutor at school which was rather awkward.

Our PE teacher would have tried to get us to have a shower so he could watch. One of the lads twatted him when he was trying to break up a fight. Strange bloke he was,

Ours would slap people across the back of the head but one lad was waiting for it and raised a chisel which got his hand.
In high school the deputy head and principal tried to give me a good hiding, it took both of the wimps to try n land a few cos I was a feral kid, afterwards they called the cops. Crazy when I think back, I’d barely got any buttons left on my shirt and the principals face was marked where I’d got him although not full on. These days the cops would have asked questions, back then I guess I was lucky they didn’t give me a good hiding on the way to the cop shop. Haha.
I was so badly behaved during break time and lunch time at primary school that it was decided that during these times I was to be escorted off the premises and to return 5minutes after everyone was let back into class.
It wasn’t til I started working that I realised that I should’ve tried harder although I ain’t done too badly.

I don't get into fights any more but used to loads. I hate that adrenaline feeling you get when s**t kicks off!

Best one a girl I knew from years back was in a bar so I spent most of the night talking to her. Nothing dodgy went on.

Her bf was waiting outside as we left and though something had gone on. I walked off to get a taxi home and he came chasing after me so after a bit of a discussion I hit him a few times before his mates broke it up. Was well impressed with myself cos a mate of mine knew the lad and said he was pretty tough whereas I'm not.

I don’t live in a desert and that was a bonkers thing to say in retrospect. Could have said something far more intelligent but .....

didnt.;)

Makes the story of you duffing a dude up sound way more exotic though, Flubs. I saw palm trees, an oasis and 3 camels :thumbup1:

Aylesbrook.
He’d stand at the end stroking his beard.
It must be a requirement for the job.

This reminded me of a time I ran away from school after I locked a teacher inside a gym lock up container ( with the help of some other) As she was a nasty piece of work. I got expelled unless I fully apologised and.........three weeks later they sent some one to get me back in! I was having a whale of a time, ha ha.  Ah well. I grew up and now just think about running away instead of doing it. ;)

Haha, I knew it, whilst you bake bread you’re also cooking up ideas of revenge. :thumb

As an adult? Three times.  Every time for someone making first physical move on back of them being rude to me. But I was wrong and got remanded twice as I'm an ex boxer (yeah, I know) and frankly now I'd always smile and walk unless it was my family being attacked. As I say to my son: 'The cowards will come back at you with a gun these days. Let it go'....
