Marzio 10 Posted May 15, 2020 One of the most common side effects of TRT/AAS is polycythemia, which basically means your body over produces red blood cells. This raises your haemoglobin (Hb) and haematicrit (HCT). If they get too high it can place you at a higher risk of heart attack and stroke (depending on your other risk factors like BMI, smoking, family history etc). This is normally resolved by either time off test or phlebotomy (blood letting). Your GP should discuss with haematology what it’s most suitable. Whether or not someone has raised Hb/HCT as a result of TRT varies from person, but it’s quite common. Im not sure about interpreting lipid panels so it would be great to hear from someone about that...

I'd do the following..... Donate some blood. 3000mg omega 3 a day 500mg citrus bergamot a day Niacin NOT THE NO FLUSH VARIETY (Typical doses range from 250 mg twice a day to 500 mg three times a day. Many patients experience unpleasant itching, flushing, and headaches, particularly as the dose is slowly increased. This side effect can be minimized by taking an 81-mg aspirin tablet 30/60 minutes before taking the niacin)
