Gyms open fit under fitness facilities STAGE THREE

Recommended Posts

JULY earliest, its getting too much now, 100% people are going to end up going crazy and rouge, no way gyms fit in stage 3! That is with all other businesses! Somehow health and fitness is more important than getting a friggin massage !!!

They need to hurry up and reopen so everyone will flog off all the home gym stuff they bought for half price

Hopefully less although I doubt much will be of the quality I’ll be wanting.

If you look under the tabloids there is a diagram showing phase 1 to 3 and states at bottom stage 3, gyms, pubs, restaurants and says autumn

Like a few have already been alluding to, I think around September

I reckon more folk might think about ‘what if’ in future rather than go about with their heads in the clouds.

I don't think this well happen, especially not immediately, no enough confidence in how things will play out. If anything, like myself, I plan to keep and invest in more equipment. I'd happily train from home now with everything I bought off ebay and gumtree. I've got a very decent setup costing me just over a grand.

I saw this too. Autumn looks likely.

You're on to something there, I bet it'll be all the argos vinyl bench press sets that are up for sale. Serious lifters who have invested in decent equipment will keep using it.

But that ain’t gym weights, they NEED a gym.

Back in the day I would carry the fridge up and down the street lol.

The youth of today don't know the half of it.

When I was in nepal there were old men with fridges strapped to there backs walking miles up and down mountains. In England we have it easy.

Exactly. Nowadays they’d need a proper sandbag.

A fridge was the closest we could manage to a husafell stone when prepping for a strongman. We used to push each others cars backwards and forwards in the gym car park lol.

Even if I preferred drinking in a pub I'd still keep a few tins in the fridge at home.

If I prefer training in a commercial gym I'd still...

Can't understand how people who need to train so badly don't was a fall back plan of some kind.

I know hindsight is 20/20 but ffs, should every gym rat have a spare barbell and set of weights saved up for rainy day in case there's going to be an outbreak and the whole country is put on lockdown?

Of course not.

They should have enough equipment to tide them over if they can't make it to the gym for any reason.
