Once life goes back to normal.. China

Recommended Posts

Was watching a new channel; a reporter was asking a key government official, Once things get back to normal , are there going to be any repercussion for China for allegedly not telling people the scale of the problem sooner.

What's your opinions ?

We could bomb them. We did this in 1999 iirc. Okay, it was the Chinese embassy in Belgrade as part of a Nato assault, but at the end of the day an attack on a foreign embassy is the same as an attack on sovereign soil according to international law. It didn’t go down well with 1.2 billion Chinese people either. So in other words, nah, nothing will happen.

There ain’t gonna be a “whole world” response. The Chinese Government have produced propaganda that suggests they are not even responsible for the virus and that it didn’t originate in China. On balance it probably did but this cannot be proven categorically. The chances of Chinese authorities being brought to account are about as likely as Putin being brought to account for his state sanctioned extrajudicial killings in the U.K.

Maybe at minimum they could be made to learn how to cook and eat regular food, instead of living off rat s**t and bat noodle soup

I quite like guessing what random meat is in my special fried rice every Friday night.

world will do f**k all, I understand the mentality very well here. Its always the same, their attitude is

“stop whining and bitching like a fag all the time " , had this conversation a lot of times now

For example: only 14 out of  198  UN countries will recognize Taiwan as a independent state, not a single one in europe nor America. UN recognise China as the representative of Taiwan. The map of China on their version of Google maps is called baidu maps, it shows taiwan as with the PRC

(ok I added in the "fag" part)

No the telly is Japanese and the mobile is from Sweden

you mean assembled in sweden, if that, high likelihood that many of of the parts are made in China, Same with your TV

A huge misconception is that when people bitch on about rubbish chinese parts they forget they are made specifically to the foreigns clients request and  budget. The same factory and same machines can make much higher grade components using different materials and tolerances and tigher management .

First person to find something that doesn't have anything made in China wins the internet

Only 3 nations can do as they please on the world stage, USA, Russia and China, the rest of us can only look on from the sidelines, pretending we have an opinion when in reality all we can do is make noise until one of the above puts the rest of us back in our place.

Nothing much will happens since the whole word is held to ransom by China for 99% of production.  Of course no other country can compete because the Chinese send their own children to work for peanuts therefore they undercut anyone on price.  Trump is starting to make a dent, fair play to him on that, its long time that we stopped putting so much into the hands of those vile people.

Nothing you can do. Personally I don’t see this as directly being China’s fault. Yes it started there but for weeks England were letting people into the country coming from high risk countries without testing or quarantining them. That wouldn’t have stopped it but could have and would have dramatically reduced the amount of people who will of got affected by COVID.

Whether people agree with wet markets or not, it’s what they do and have done it for over 100 years. And not just in China. They have them in South American countries and other Asian countries like Thailand, Bali and Hong Kong.

Its a global pandemic, everybody is affected by it. Just get on with it the best we can and do your bit.

Ask yourselves this. Do you blame Africa for AIDS? Or is AIDS of no concern as you haven’t directly been impacted by it?! Because that’s the only difference.

Over 75 million people have been infected by AIDS related illness. Around half of them have died leaving the rest still living with it. Yet, I don’t see no one calling out Africa.

How fickle human beings are, we are pathetic.

The UK government had six weeks to prepare but squandered it and farted around.

Probably more. I can’t help but think they will have known about this before it got into the public domain.

Not sure why there would be any repercussions for China.

They seem to have dealt with this thing much better than most. Why did we not just follow their model of combating it?

Who knows for certain how it even started. There's some vague reports that it started in bats then it passed to some other animal species, then it spread to humans. But there doesn't seem to be anything concrete or unequivocal how it actually came into existence.

For all we really know it may have originated from someone that visited China.

There's plenty that could be done to punish China if that was the wish. Economic sanctions against them could cripple them. Only problem, the West is so reliant on Chinese imports it would cripple us also.

Sweden have still not enforced a lockdown. Schools, shops, businesses etc are all still open there and they don't seem to be fairing as badly as other countries that have been in lockdown for weeks.

Is there actually any evidence that these lockdowns work?

China never implemented any national lockdown, neither did S Korea or Japan and similarly to Sweden they faired pretty well.

Rather than implementing these draconian measures and chucking around all this public money paying a workforce not to work.

They could have spent a fraction of that money rolling out proper mass testing. The only way to really work out how bad this thing is and an accurate mortality rate is by mass testing.

The rate of testing in the UK has been pitiful. How many NHS staff have it and are spreading to the most vulnerable group in society- the old who already hospitalised with existing conditions.

We know from MRSA that hospitals are breeding grounds for germs.
