Kettlebells

Hi guys 

Anyone able to recomend some good starting kettlebell routines?

Im going to start working out at home and find it abit overwhelming looking online as so many differant rountines.

I just want something i can do 3 days a week to get in shape, i do a push pull legs at the gym at presant so im not new to form etc

No ill be packing in the gym and working out at home with a kettlebell

My main aim is fitness as im 37 not intrested in size. More cardio strength type workout like circuits

I can't really help you there I'm afraid.

I'm 41, interested in both health and size and train at home, but I have a power rack etc :). Proper weight training is good for long term health BTW.

I do this complex on days I don't do weights if it's of any use to you, it pretty knackering for me. 

20 kettle bells swing, 20 body weight squats, 20 press ups. Strict form for all.

19 swings, 19 squats, 19 press ups, then work down to nil.18, 17, 16 etc.

no breaks at all....unless you pass out! Ha ha....

land use a decent weight kettle bell too, but I would suggest a lighter one that you think u can do when u first try it....harder than it looks if u do everything with good form.

 

i also follow the cosgrove complex routines for kbs from t nation.

Ive been doing this the last month, started with a 16kg bell, going to up to 24kg soon. Farmers with 40kg.

gets me sweating and feel like its a good workout. Noticed slight fat loss too which is what i wanted from it so all good.

Aba bab 3 days a week

A
Swings    1x25
Press. 1x6
X4
Squat.          1x10
Pull up          1x10
X4
Farmers. 3x8

B
Swings              1x25
Row.                   1x10
X4
Squat                 1x10
Pushup             1x20
X4
Ab roller.           3x15
