Advice for cardio post weight training

Hey guys. Advice needed. I've started doing a lot of cardio after my weights sessions as i hear it burns more fat and retains muscle better that way around. But I usually take a protein shake after my weights sessions as well. Do you think I should take it in between the weights and cardio or after the whole lot?

anything over about 20 minutes LISS will somewhat impede MPS 

is it going to be a night and day difference in your gains? no but it will interfere with recovery. 

Having a shake in between the weights and cardio session would likely offset this a bit but still the best case scenario is to do cardio as far away from your resistance training as possible (ideally on separate days) 

if you cant stomach a shake immediately post wo and immediately pre cardio then leave it til after the cardio
as i said the impact on gains will be negligible either way
