Magnesium citrate is certainly fine. In terms of the individual product I'd be checking the link I posted above. And looking at the price of course.

Magnesium bisglycinate. Best bioavailability and lowest risk of GI upset with high doses.

Best value I've seen in the UK in the link below although they seem to be currently out of stock:

Is this better than mag c?

I believe so. I wait for BP to have a sale (25-30% off) and buy in bulk. Mag Bis is very good and I've  never had any stomach issue at all with it. I have tried a few others and had minor upset so I stick to the Bulk Powders tabs now.

I use 3 caps each night before bed along with DL Phenylalanine and Taurine and I sleep like a baby until 6.30 when my alarm goes off.

reccomend me a good one guys

Citrate, chelate, malate and glycinate are the most bioavailable forms. NOW foods and source naturals has good ones.

Stay away from oxides and sulfates, they are cheap and are not absorbed as well.

As you can see from this writeup it depends on how you are planning to take it(with/wo food, water etc), how well you tolerate the various forms and off course pricing.

I would follow what ElChapo said and generally just find the cheapest one that you seem to tolerate well, and give you a dosage between 200-400mg.

Oxides and sulfates will not do you any good, other than perhaps relieving constipation.

Myself I am using ZMA from Optimum ATM. Some sources say aspartate have a bioavailability of 42%(which is very good) and some say it`s just barely more bioavailable than oxide. Maybe someone else knows whats actually the case here?
