GeordieSteve 126 Posted March 23, 2014 Ok not much of a recipe but I thought I'd post this up in case people hadn't thought about it. I make mussels often (last night in fact) and they're very low in fat and high in protein. Great clean food. I buy a kilo of mussels from Tesco for £3.80 and they're huge. If I buy them after work they tend to be on the bargain shelf before they die and they go down to about £1.80... bargain. I make two sauces: 1 small pot double cream 2 cloves of garlic Splash of white wine or 1 carton passata with basil 2 cloves of garlic 3 chopped bird eye chilies Splash white wine If your bulking then throw in a big chunk of tiger bread to go with it Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
