my opinion for what its worth... I think training if you are proper ill is counter productive as your body is already stressed fightng an infection. however if its just the snffles then yeah, man up and train.

It depends how bad i am

If i was so ill i couldnt eat propley, cold sweats etc then i would have to give training a miss :thumbup1:

Just a cold then i would be in the gym :)

when properly ill i do fcuk all other than concentrate on getting better - i have learnt the hard way how training can extend an illness.

if im over the worse of an illness and on my way to feeling better i will do light sessions.

i dont ever do any cardio if i have a flueey type illness. make my chest bad

I hate being in bed apart from when I'm gona sleep or shagging.

I've never had a day off from work with injuries or flu. Gym though, had about 10/11 weeks off now with foot injuries/infections.

Suffering from flu now. Aches, shooting pains in muscles, constant pump also from gear so can't get comfortable on the couch. Can't fcking breath and had about 9 hours total sleep last 2 days. Girlfriend gave me a massage earlier then disappeared over the neighbours because I'm a miserable cvnt. Only joy in my life right now is photo shopping peahead.

TBH if I stay in bed I feel much worse, and my recovery always takes longer!!

I rather go and grab a few weights (of course not at the same lvl, depending really how bad I feel) and cycle for 20 or 30 minutes, then hit the steam bath or sauna, have a cold shower and going home completely dead and sleep like a baby!

But I had the swein flu last year and man... Those were the hardest 10 days I've had in my life! :cursing:
