Right, me and the missus want to go away on a weekend city break in Europe but i haven't got a clue where to go. I've been to Prague before but she doesn't want to go there.

Any suggestions on place you lot have been recently?

Depends what you want. Over the past 10 yrs or so I've been on city breaks to....

Milan, Barcelona, Nice, Prague, Venice, Budapest, Paris, Rome, Madrid, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, sure there's more but can't think at mo.

(My fave's were Rome, Barcelona & Milan).

I was thinking about Barcelona, but i don't want to spend the equivalant to a week away on a package holiday.

Is Barcelona pricey for food, drinks etc???

Rome is very scenic
