Is it a 'thing' to be eating too much protein on a bulk and not enough carbs? I weigh around 70kg (155lbs) and have been eating around 300g protein daily and 150-200g carbs. Is this going to be detrimental to my bulk?

Calories are calories at the end of the day.

I aim for 1g per lbs of bodyweight and make the rest up with carbs. Carbs are cheaper and easier to digest imo so using more of them stops me feeling bloated through the day.

Make sure to be getting in enough fat also, most of mine comes from meat and dairy. But olive oil is a good supplement source. Carbs are the main drivers for energy and performance in the gym so I've never understood shying away from them.

There is no such thing as too much protein.

Now on a serious side I always make my macros like protien>carbs>fats even when I bulk, I try to consume more protien tha n carbs. In the end of the day if you meet your caloric goal, you will gain weight.
