Being a bit of a tight and cynical git I've never spent money on a 'proper' PWO shake.

Straight after a training sess I have a couple of pieces of toasted white bread covered in cheap sugary jam. Even take it with me and eat in the changing rooms sometimes, washed down with a protein shake.

As soon as I start eating you can feel the effect, like your body is craving the carb/sugar combo, like an instant 'lift'.

Yom yom jam... :bounce:

Any other jam believers?
