Man its been two weeks snice I was last at the gym. I've been off due to a sharp pain in my left delt :(

It's not as bad as it was before, though I still feel a slight sharp pain :(

Should i leave it longer? The doctor was no help at all.. just told me to buy some crappy cream............. :cursing:

Have you been to see a physio dude?

Pain is the sign of it not being healed properly, maybe leave it a bit longer dude and see a physio in between that, best being out for 2-3 wks rather than 3 months.

See a sports massage person, they can work miracles, I tore a neck muscle and they used this machine which was like hundreds of electric needles to treat it...it worked a treat...don't rush back to the gym or if you go avoid any strain to the injured area...it has to heal, if you push it you will only make it worse...

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, interesting, its alot harder to make a conclusion then without being their to test you, but having said that if you are having pains with all of them then i would DEF NOT be going back to the gym yet!!

My adivce would be to go see a physio, i have a feeling you have either a strain of one of your rotator cuff muscles, more so either supraspinatus or infraspinatus or possibly your pec muscle

i have had 3 shoulder impingements, 2 supraspinatus and one infraspinatus and they all present as mid delt pain, i was stupid and kept training in the early stages and only made it worse forcing me to have to stop upper body training all together! Needs physio though if it is what i think as you cant get rid of the scar tissue and inflammation yourself!

meh :(

I'll give it one more week, and see how it goes..

It's annoying as i'm at uni every week and i travel every day for uni so making appointments for the doctors is impossible unless i take a day off.

Thanks for taking the time to help me

where abouts do you live?? Im working at at the moment at St Georges in Hornchurch and MAY be able to see you on the sly possibly!!

What are your uni hours cause some physios work late and early, my suggestion would be to see a private physio even just once, yes it will cost about 30-40 but you prob could get away with just one session and get them to give you advice on how to manage it yourself at home!

Train your legs and stop whining, i tore my RC's and still managed to win powerlifting contests (it just hurt a lot lol), see your phsyio, do your rc exercises, stop doing bench press and stupid cable crossovers.
