All,

Hope you are all safe and well.

Im loosing weight at the moment which is something I have been keen to do. I would be very grateful on users thoughts on how much water I should be drinking per day? I have water in tea etc but I am referring to glasses of water.

I have only been drinking perhaps 0.3 to 0.5 Litre and was wondering if I should increase this?

Yes.

You'll see all sorts of crazy amounts recommended including amounts well over a gallon a day. Probably a bit much.

8 tall glasses is a classic recommendation - I think that works out about 2 litres. If you drink lots of tea you may want to drink a little more though as tea is a diuretic

Get one of these 700ml - and drink first thing*, lunch and afternoon - 2.1l and you'll piss it. Has to be Joe Wicks though, nothing else works… View attachment 201663

*a big glass of water on waking, gulped down, actually gets your s**t moving - what better way to start the day than with a satisfying dump, eh?

Drink when you feel thirsty....

Our bodies are amazingly able to tell us when we need to have a drink.
