i squatted tonight for the first time since the 8th september which i see as being 6 weeks :thumb:

the poundages i shifted were mighty though,

124kg for reps of 6 is my best to date (for reps) so my session worked up to 70kg which isnt too bad considering i still have a partly sprained ankle

i will wait to see if i live to regret my decision tomorrow, if not all i need to add into my routine is

power cleans

rugby training

rugby matches

and im there :lol:

Nice one fella.

How do you find squats afterwards? I'm going to be attempting my first set of squats tomorrow night & am quite looking forward!

well whilst squatting i could feel the ankle isnt 100% yet, i think in terms of building the weight up i may be back up to respectable figures within a few weeks

the rugby may be a problem as rotation of the foot is sometimes awkward, so going over in a game or in training will put me back many weeks so im going to wait until im 110% before i return :)
