I have just finished the fifth book today, they are all brilliant, a lot different from the show except the first one follows the same basic story line. The books are a lot darker than the show IMO, and include the same twisted humor that makes Dexter so enjoyable.

i hope this season isn't going to be too much like season 2 with doakes. If they can top season 4 then that will be the best season of any show ever. Even the current ever greatest tv show the sopranos

there was an advertisement on the bus stop saying season 4 sky 1 but many have already seen season 4 from an american tv channel
