Stick to ASDA Smartprice Chiken/Tuna/LeanBeef/Eggs/Oats etc and will save you a bit in the long run compared to branded foods.

Bulking is always going to cost more per week than a normal diet, but if you want to acheive your goals it has to be done.

Id see if you can try and strike up a good relationship with a Butcher as if you buy regular bulk form them im sure it would work out cheaper than the supermarkets.

Tesco's own brand chicken breast n cod loin. tesco tuna. tesco everything.

I'm in the same boat as you, not enough money to buy food, i'm planning on having protein, oats, peanut butter in a shake twice a day as its a cheap sauce of kcals.

Since this credit crunch i have stopped buying meal replacements supplements and like you liam had 2 scoops protein, oats and pb blended up. Tastes not to bad either and i feel more full from it after. Def worth a go if your on a budget.
