  1. So for some context I lost a s**t load of weight a while back and have been trying lately to put it back on in muscle. But with all that shredded weight I got some loose skin and a few stretch marks but that’s not my issue. When I sit down, I get rolls and I’ll try to include the pics of them here. And the ones that run across my stomach I’m okay with simply because they look healthy imo. But there’s this great big one that hangs over my trousers that I despise. I’m at an impasse as to how to deal with it simply because I get told on one hand that I don’t have any muscle and thus my skin and fat just slumps there but on the other I think it is fat and that it needs cutting. its the same deal with my abs. I can see a rough outline on a good day but most of the time it’s flat or bloated (I was initially bulking but as of writing this, I’m having second thoughts). some advice would be much appreciated standing up, you can see the stretch marks but I’d say for little or no muscle, looks normal.sat down, it just turns to s**t. It doesn’t look as bad when I am wearing no trousers but just the idea of it makes me think I need to cut.
  2. I’m a naturally slim build wanting to build more muscle quickly but also want to developed more defined pecks and get a six-pack? When I spend weeks trying to gain a six-pack, I lose my muscle mass but when I spent weeks trying to gain muscle, my stomach becomes skinny fat. Should I do a mixture of cardio & weights in different days on the week or spend a few weeks doing one then change? As for dieting, I usually eat between 2800-3000 on the days that I go the gym 5 days a week (Monday-Friday). Here’s a photo of my body below:

Hey guys, I'm new to lifting, as of last week actually and I've went out of my way and bought myself a plan from the guy on youtube called Fitness With TJ (Its a 4 day upper/legs/full body split I'm 17 in March, 6'4 and around 82-83 kg so around 13 Stone. I can eat basically whatever i want and my body will stay at this weight but I'm really not happy with this skinny fat physique. I've cut out all junk foods, ive been sticking to a lot of tuna, salad, chicken and only water. He said I should eat 2300 calories minimum a day and I'm currently eating way under that but I'm kind of clueless. I do want to put on muscle but I just want to get my abs showing. I know i need to build up my chest and shoulders too. Also, I have very wide hips which I cant do much about and im not really "genetically gifted" I'd really appreciate any input whatsoever from more experienced people or people who have transformed from something similar.   4. Hi guys, Just looking for some advice on where to start. I am looking to get back into shape, I used to go to the gym 3-4 times a week back about 3 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the experience as well as the results, however back then I was just skinny as hell, had the 'Skinny guy 6 pack' due to just having no mass in general lol - So it was easy, I ate big and lifted big (relatively speaking of course!) and grew/gained really nicely over about 6-8 months. I have not bee to the gym in around 3 years, and this time around I'am a little older (24) and a little bit more flabby. I am unsure if I should adopt the same approach again as I am already skinny fat, and worried I will end up just fat basically. My rough stats are 5'9 at around 55 - 60KG at the moment (I will attach a picture below so you can see what I am working with) How should someone like me approach 'Getting into shape'? I remember vaguely from the research I did 3 years ago about losing and gaining weight being a simple mechanic, calories in v's calories out etc ..But should a skinny fat guy bulk right off the bat? My go to work out regime was and will be basically a 5x5 with integrated isolation exercises. I love doing dead-lifts, bent over rows, dips, DB press, DB Shoulder press and then throw in a few curls, behind the head tricep extension things, and use the cable machine for standing fly's (I think they are called?) Thanks in advance for any advice
  5. Bulk or Cut?

    Hi, Joined the forums so I can get the opinion of some seasoned pros, am I skinny enough to bulk or is the belly fat going to cause a problem? Been training for a few years but somehow lost pretty much all muscle over the last 12 months, with inconsistent cutting attempts and poor dieting. I used to be much more muscular than this and miss the feeling of being big, but wonder whether bulking when I've already got a bit of a belly is a bad idea? My diet is good now, I eat 500 less calories every day in a cutting attempt, and do Alex Savva's Freakmode workout programme (3x days weight training and endurance cardio, 2x days core & hiit). My thinking is that even if I lose this weight in cutting, I won't really have the underlying muscle mass to show for it. Also, I've got a big holiday coming up at the start of September, so think I may just get on the gain train until then. What do you lot reckon? Thanks, Bort
