  2. New here, saying hi.

Hi there, I'm Jamie and new here to the forums. Been lurking for a while now but thought I'd sign up and become an active user. I train 6 days a week and sometimes will pop in a wee routine on my rest day. Been training like it's an addiction ever since I was furloughed last year. Training has done so much for me be it keep my mind occupied and making sure to never lose focus. I've went up a couple of stone in muscle thanks to the routines I've made and would be happy to to learn and even help out anyone wanting to train. It took many years to figure out how to train and train properly but I'm happy so say I'm where I want to be body wise and in a great head space thanks to the focus training hard brings. So stop by and say hi! I'd love to hear from others who have used this awful time to stay focused and train hard at home. - Jamie
  3. GYM!

There must be some way I can get into a gym! Central Scotland. No space at home! Anyone got a garage gym I can break into? Really missing those dumb belles...……..
  4. Building Valhalla - my new home gym

Alright guys so I have just moved house and i have shared a lot of my training videos in the past, in the training log section. However my workouts will hopefully be evolving very soon as I am expanding and building upon everything I had in my own home (have more space) For those who want to see how the progress is going and see everything transform day by day whilst I build everything, then I hope you will enjoy the mini series I will share here
  5. Was just wondering if someone could please give me some advice on whether to carry on cutting or start a lean bulk. I’ve lost around 7kg in 10 weeks and weigh just under 70kg at 5ft9. I have pretty much maintained what little strength I had at the start. The problem now is I feel that I’m way to light and skinny at just under 70kg but I don’t look in amazing shape either ie not ripped. My training has been consistent along with a good diet but I just don’t know where to go from here so can anyone give me a push in the right direction? Thanks In advance?? (Before and and after photos from my cut attatched)
  6. Big Al's Fight Prep

Alright guys so before covid I was starting to fight again in the ring (although cage to be specific with my last fight) and now that things are starting to get back to normal I'm beginning to prep to go back in again. At the moment training is a little restrictive, but I'm hoping by the end of the year to have a regular sparring partner or two (but we will have to see) in the meantime I'm doing mostly bagwork. I've got three vids to share with you with recent prep the first was in late February just before all the covid madness. Then two more that I've done during the lockdown I've started adding commentary now on the last video to explain my thoughts, techniques etc. But the first two just have music over the top. Cheers guys feel free to share your thoughts, ideas questions etc..

  9. Just a chance for me to rant really about going to some of these big Gym chains. I signed up for The Gym (the gym group) recently, as they had a decent half price deal on, and my usual home gym was out of action for a bit. I forgot how many irritating things you can encounter by going to these types of places. Always busy, equipment you need already being used by someone, kids going up to you asking ‘mate, have you finished your set or how many sets left?’, s**t music, no character. Honestly, I feel worse when I leave the place than when I entered. The price is great but I’m thinking it’s worth almost paying double or triple just to go to a decent gym and get a decent workout. Anybody else get annoyed by this?
  10. Video training log -Big Als

Hi so I've always kept a video log of my training and I've shared old bits on here before when I used to post more but thought I'd start again. Mainly just for entertainment but also comments and criticism questions and answers etc. Got two vids to share the summary of my 2019 workouts (what bits I could find on the computer) and then my first video of theis year
  11. Creating a home gym app

Hello everyone, I have an idea and was wanting some feedback on the idea. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. My idea is a home gym app where you can input into the app all the equipment you have at your home gym and the app will suggest exercises you can do with the equipment you have. Whilst looking for routines for myself, I tend to find exercises or workout plans that require equipment that I don't have and this could be a possible solution. Thank you for reading and any feedback on what you think will be very useful. Let me know if you would if you would use the app and would like something like this to be part of your gym life.
  12. Pro-Hormone queries

Hi, im thinking about taking a Epistan & Tren x cycle to lose fat and grow lean muscle. I have liver protection + PCT as well. i have done a Halo+Epi cycle before with good results. I know both Epistan & Tren X are non-methylated but have in cycle support anyway. I know drinking while on PH’s isn’t a good idea, by would there be any harm in having a few pints over my cycle? As my friends will wonder why I’m not drinking etc. Also, as both are non-methylated, surely there won’t be such an issue? also if anyone could give general or diet tips while on this stack, it would appreciated. thank you! im planning on taking 70mg of Epistan daily with 300mg stanodrol & 100mg 7-KETO (Both of these in the Tren-X)
  13. Hi guys, Does anybody else suffer from body dysmorphia? And how do you cure it I guess or cope with it? I'm not depressed or lacking confidence in any way. But I just don't see what others see. It's like I'm blind in a way. I look in the mirror at my body and feel like puking, even questioning why I go gym, why has my body not changed in a couple years of training. But other people seem to think differently, for example in photos I look completely different to how I look in a mirror. Unless I'm comparing myself to someone else who doesn't lift. I can't really see any gains. Basically what I'm saying is topless.... I look like topless will ferrel... But except I don't according to others. I'm confused as hell. What's going on? Do I need to see a psychiatrist?
  14. Weak upper body

Im 25 82.4kg. 6 foot 2. 2yrs ago I was 98kg. I am around 18%bf now. I need to cut but when I do, I'll end up looking more skinny. All my lower body lifts are going up but not upper body. Im following fierce 5 program, 3 day full body. Below lifts are 3 sets 5 reps Squat 90kg Bench 57.5kg Ohp 35kg Romanian deadlift 72.5kg x8 reps Elbows are tucked in on the way down when benching and flared when ascending. Ohp - pausing briefly at the bottom. Chest up, deep breath, squeezing glutes. I've gained 2kg and a few lb in about 2 months but i think its mainly lower body. Eating more will result in gaining more fat? Tracking calories with mfp. 2900 cals a week atm. 160 grams+ protein a day. Sleeping 7-8 hrs a day. I always seem to 'bulk' then cut but havent seen any real results. What am I doing wrong?
  15. Gym How Many Times A Week?

I've been recently starting a new work out program and I've been hitting the gym 4 or 5 times a week for the last few weeks. The trouble is I am EXHAUSTED. Trying to work 40 hours a week and go to the gym is so tiring for me. I'm seeing some gains in my arms and abs (currently putting on about a pound each week) so I know it is making a difference. However my face looks really tired and dull. I'm 35 years old, 119lbs, 5ft8...trying to eat around 2,500 calories at least a day. Only supplements I take are 5 grams of creatine a day. My question is do I need to back off how much I go to the gym and allow my body to recover? Or do I need to just add more carbs and protein so my body isn't feeling so run down?
  16. Knee pain after lifting

Hi,On sundayI did some dumbell lunges with 10kg dumbells and when i took the dog out for a walk around 3 hours later my left knee had a dull sharpish pain right at the front of the knee cap. It's strange because I've been running and walking on it for months with no pain what so ever and as soon as I start this exercise my knee starts hurting?? I am thinking it could be my form? So i kept my toes pointing straight forward and knees straight forward also but i am aware your knees should be kinda facing outwards when you squat so is it my form?I am new to weight lifting so form Is pretty awful at the moment so If anyone could give me any advice or help on this I would muchly appreciate it. Thanks.
