Thanks Swole. I’m benching heavy once a week but only pushing past my one rep max once a month. I’ve been recommended elbow pads, i’ll give them a try but I can’t see how they can dampen the pressure of a lift on my elbows. I’m assuming anti-inflammatory tablets help but they’re harsh on your liver if you take them long-term.
Currently training to start competing on the bench. Everything going well apart from when I hit my one rep maxes I almost always then suffer from a few days of tendinitis around the elbow areas of my arms. Does anyone else suffer with this and is there any way to ensure it stops happening?
