Hi, I've recently started going back to the gym after a long time being lazy (young family and full time shift work play a part). For a couple of months I've just been hitting the treadmill trying to get my 2 mile time down. Now I'm going for something a bit higher intensity. Today I tried 4 sets of Kettlebell swings 50 reps with 20kg and 4 sets of pulsing jump squats 40 reps with 20kg Kettlebell Those killed me.... I finished with 2x 30 second HIT sprints on the treadmill at speed setting 16km/h Is this sufficient for high intensity training? I have no idea what I'm doing and just making it up as I go along ... Thanks for any advice.
