I think that's a valid criticism of Neil Ferguson, mate. He was a scientist that directly advised the government on a public lockdown that he didn't follow.
As for Cummings, did he advise anyone on anything to do with the lockdown? Genuine question. I don't know the answer. If not, the hypocrisy allegation can't really be pinned to him.
I get the distinct feeling that, despite the weak BS excuses, Cummings is probably an extremely shrewd and capable political operator. I feel this in large part due to the huge efforts the left wing media are going to in order to whip up public ill feeling towards him. It's a partisan witch-hunt, plain and simple...and the most worrying thing for me is watching how manipulable the general public are. For that reason alone, i hope Boris ignores all the sheep and he stays in his job.
I'm yet to hear any of the sanctimonious eejits calling for Cummings' resignation also call for the resignations of Labour MP's who, for example, drove hundreds of miles to see their parents, attended a funeral with over 100 mourners, or went to a birthday party with several guests. The lack of sincerity is nauseating.

I get what you're saying, mate, but Cummings is not an MP...he's merely an advisor.
Yes, his excuses for travelling are total BS, and if there was any evidence of him not adhering to social distancing guidelines (and putting others at risk), i'd be less sympathetic towards him...but travelling with members of his household in his personal vehicle to an unoccupied house isn't exactly crime of the century as far as i can see. Neither is going to the seaside away from everyone else. Yes, technically he broke the rules, but who did he put at risk??
It's not as if he's going around swapping all manner of bodily fluids with married women from different households like that Ferguson idiot.
I'm sure you've seen this pic on social media...i think it captures the hypocrisy rather well.

I've not really followed it but look at the camera men and reporters all bunched together around him.
Talking about hypocrisy, what's with that.

All these people going on about the gyms being closed affecting their mental health in one breath, then saying let the old people stay in isolation while the young go about their business in the next.
What about the old peoples mental health? They will be in isolation longer than anybody. Does their mental health count for nothing?

You’d have thought so. I’m amazed how many people claim that the gyms being shut is “bad for their mental health” despite the fact that for the most part of this lockdown we could all go out and exercise in the glorious sunshine.
I went back to it (exercise) last week.
    All good for me.
Stop fu**ing moaning and move on.

So because the lockdown was ‘successful’ and we didn’t need the emergency backup beds, it’s a disaster?
    Surely it’s a success?
Imagine what you’d be saying if we needed them and hadn’t built them.
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t ...

Jo used to hammer the recreational drugs and when she returned from the US, a horrendous meth habit followed her.
A real shame because, like Luke, she had the potential to  make a huge name for herself.
No sign of Luke of Luke suffering from addiction problems but mental illness comes in many guises.
