  1. @Pscarb I bet being on 500mg of proviron felt good - for me, at least in the beginning, 25mg daily boosted my mood really well. I don't think it was placebo because i was only expecting a libido boost, which it didn't really do. What it did do though, was make my motivation at work noticeably higher, something i really liked. I was hoping that proviron, along with the low dose clomid i was already on, would be a long term thing for me. Whatever the cause was though, the low e2 type symptoms i ended up with made me stop.
  2. Reminds me of a conversation i had with an old guy at work once. He was asking me why do people take drugs? "I can't understand why anyone would take drugs" he said, "i've never taken and won't ever take drugs in my life"... So i pointed out we were sat drinking coffee and that caffeine's a drug. And also that he went out every Friday to meet his mates down the pub to drink alcohol, also a drug.....but he wouldn't accept they're drugs because "they're legal"....
  3. My wife had it prescribed for libido (Androgel). I know, i know - 99% of men who go through the nhs can't get a testosterone prescription unless they're near castrate levels, but a woman asks because she has low libido and walks out the docs same day with a years worth, crazy.... Anyhow, she hated it. Probably shouldn't have used a whole sachet in one go (they gave no dosage advice), but all it did to her was make her angry and anxious so she wouldn't try it again.
  4. Ffs i was gonna say that! But i was going to add "Holland & Barratt sell it"
  5. Lower leg pain when walking/jogging

I think he just called you fat.....
  6. Man trapped in lathe (NSFW)

Looks like the start button was right where he was stood leaning over into the machine. Maybe he had his hand on the buttons to steady himself....
  7. He's not trapped in it for long though.... https://amp.reddit.com/r/NSFL_/comments/jxo0cz/worker_gets_caught_in_the_lathe_red_mist_and/ Moral of the story - don't work in a factory in a 3rd world country (actually this might be Russia, not sure). And don't put your face near a lathe.... *** If you don't like gorey stuff don't watch
  8. Fair points i guess. On a personal level, i have an axe to grind when it comes to proviron. I took it daily for several months, 25mg a day. Loved it at first, made me feel very motivated at work. But after several months, i noticed physical changes similar to what i'd read people have with low e2 - dry joints, knees that would lock up when crouching down, and more. Got a blood test, my testosterone had dropped from 21 nmol/l (on long term low dose clomid therapy), down to 11 nmol/l. Further tests showed it drop down to 6 nmol/l. I hadn't stopped the proviron at this point because i kept reading that it isn't supressive and is used in pct. Well, as those studies say, it doesn't affect gonadotropins - mine were fine. But those studies do 'suspect' it may affect StAR protein, and that's not good if it does. Taking proviron was the only thing i'd added in my daily supplemental routine, and i'd be suprised if it wasn't proviron that caused my drop in test levels. Three years on, i'm now up to 12 nmol/l, so i'm no fan of proviron for people not on trt / steroids.
  9. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/6431212/ "Mesterolone treatment significantly decreased both plasma testosterone and protein bound testosterone levels" https://jpma.org.pk/article-details/7099?article_id=7099 "Gonadotropins were not supressed by mesterolone treatment. The fall of total testosterone may be due to inhibition of steroideogenesis by mesterolone in testis. Dihydrotestosterone was shown to inhibit steroideogenic acute regulatory protein (StAR) expression in Leydig cells.17 Mesterolone is an orally active a-methyl derivative of dihyrotestosterone, and it may also inhibit StAR and decrease steroid hormone levels."
  10. Shoulder pain whilst pressing

It really does work. My right shoulder plays up when pressing overhead, i'll start by hanging by 2 hands off my power rack, and also just grab it high up with my right hand and pull my body away from it before each set. You need to relax the shoulder as you do it, like you're trying to let it move out of it's socket. This helps release any impingement, but for me at least i have to press straight away after letting go else it traps whatever's trapped again

He was sort of lying down, bits of him anyway.
  12. War films

I love watching it, and luckily it seems to be on most weekends in the morning on (i think) the 'Yesterday' channel. I'll put it on while having my first cuppa of the day, and it reminds me that compared to back then, life is pretty damned easy.
  13. Shoulder pain whilst pressing

  14. Man trapped in lathe (NSFW)

Ah, probably the best place for it i guess. I keep forgetting about the naughty sections on here, must drop in more often.
  15. War films

I enjoy watching factual stuff about war, not really a film person tbh. But war documentaries - 'The World At War' narrated by L. Olivier is very good. 'They Shall Not Grow Old', the Peter Jackson docu/movie is excellent, very moving.
  16. Loss of power/strength..normal?

Yep, happened to me last night on my first exercise, overhead press. I also binned the rest of the workout. I'd gone in there feeling off - had got home from work, sat down and kept nodding off with a coffee in my hand. Took a couple of yohimbine caps, hour later felt more alert but now with anxiety, so not a good mindset to go in with. Some nights it just aint gonna happen mate. Get used to it, as you get older it gets worse.....
  17. Cardarine and endurance

Ah ok, i see. Well all the positive things i've read about cardarine makes me want to try it - is it something that needs to be cycled, or can it just be used as long as wanted?
  18. Cardarine and endurance

Oh ok. Still a bit worrying though when you know it's occured at all
  19. Cardarine and endurance

    I thought cardarine was cancerous?...
  20. Have you ever cheated on your Mrs?

Doubt he'll need to in prison.
  21. Have you ever cheated on your Mrs?

    Yes and yes.
  22. Post a Recent Picture Thread - Vol. II

Me during first lockdown on furlough. Had a tan coming on, gone now. Might post one in the adult section too with my knob out:
  23. Deep heat spray has more effect than the cream. I could get the cream on my knob and not suffer too much. Chilli rub though - sweet Jesus, it's heat at another level. Get this on your bell end and it's a hospital job -
