I haven't created a journal in a long time. Progress in the gym has been non-existent thanks to Covid, a lack of commitment, life, businesses, my love of bad food and the list goes on.
My aim is to do a simple routine that I can keep to such as Mon, Wed, Fri however I know at the start I need to do everyday with one day off to build up a routine. The aim is to get 60 sessions achieved as a starting point and stay on top of my diet with the app 'My fitness pal'.
I am hoping the journal will help to keep me on track. First session will hopefully be today at about 4pm. Routine coming soon.
Calories - I will aim for 1,950 per day. 160g protein, carbs will try and be below 160g a day and the rest in fat.
Supplements maybe later down the line when the basics of the diet is sorted.

Not sure what your personality is like or if it fits your schedule but my personal answer is no.
Worked security for a good while and as many of the fellas have said it's crap pay for the danger you could face on a regular basis.
Hours were s**t, mine typically being 7pm till 3am and due to the utterly ridiculous restraining techniques they teach you and expect you to follow make that more like 3.30 clearing if there's a function on. I.e wedding reception, hen do etc.
Only good thing I will say about my later years on the doors is that I worked with an excellent team. All got on well, backed each other up, knew our strengths and weaknesses  when dealing with people.
I personally wouldn't do it again, not worth the hassle and disruption to your schedule for the pay that's given.

Nah, and not planning on going back, well def not doing fixed hours on a door. Ive done my 13 years of working every weekend, got the t-shirt, got the scars, got the memories. Towards the end, before lockdown, things were getting bad. Too many plastic gangster giving it the big one, then when your sticking on them or giving them a slap, everyone has their phones out recording. You cant get away with anything these days. I spent hours in police interview rooms under caution near the end, just cant be arsed with it.
All the decent lads i know arent going back either. I think when lockdown happened the decent lads realised theres more to life than working every weekend. I know after a few weeks into lockdown my mental and physical strength skyrocketed, just because i had the extra rest and sleep.
Also my best mate who ive worked with from day one, we come as a pair, quit the doors, so theres no way im going back working on a inner city front door with someone i dont know, not safe. Before when we were together it was brilliant. We have the same attitude and sense of humour, and same temper, and when provoked neither of us backed down, had each others back 100%. Now a days all the good ones have left and the only door lads that are left are those that do security work in supermarkets during the day, and not being funny theyre shirt fillers, they arent doormen.
My door boss keeps in touch, one of my best mates, and hes hopefully got some VIP events and close protection stuff coming later in the year, which i dont mind doing, very good pay. But my days on the front door dealing with dicks are done.

This ties in quite nicely with a conversation I’ve just had with my impatient wife. She doesn’t think that she’s impatient but she definitely is. I don’t think that I’m a procrastinator but I probably am.
I’ve told her that I’ll stop procrastinating tomorrow if she stops being impatient yesterday.

this for me. Tbh the last few weeks have been a bit of a waste in reality because the only people still coming in are either hypochondriacs or folk with feck all to do. There’s an elderly woman who lives on her own over the road from the site who comes in for a test every day. I made her a cup of tea yesterday. Ordinarily a big no no for obvious reasons but it made her day talking to us all for half an hour

Totally agree but in my view this is because you want to avoid potentially under dosed test, so if you are cycling and coming off do 2 mil or don’t bother. If you could reliably source pharma grade stuff 250 would be plenty for most. Slinmeister isn’t U.K based so where he gets his gear from is different to where we might. That’s not to say that you can’t get decent ugl stuff here. It’s just that nothing is certain

The people I've known personally that died, did so doing something they loved, that's gotta be the best way.

I think the risk level with motorcycles is hugely effected by the way you/we  ride, can be safe and careful, or reckless and dangerous.  Have lost 3 close friends over the years ( 2 own fault). And seen guy die on a trackday.
Scuba dive , not known anyone personally that has died but had to help with body recovery 2 dead, and been turned away from dive site in Egypt due to dead divers stuck in the wreak.
Rock climb,  one mate got killed when the rock face he was climbing cracked , he fell about 80 foot , but around 5 tonne of rocks landed on him. Luckily I didn't go climbing that day.
Sky dive,  seen a few injuries, broken legs/ankle but no deaths.

You want him to eat 2600-2700 calories on which I'm assuming is his first cycle while expending that little amount of energy on cardio every day? And why on earth would you shut yourself down for 250mg of test?

I work in construction which is the industry with the highest fatality rate... if the negligent unqualifieds don't get ya the asbestos fu**ing well will
Used to smoke alot. That shits f**ked up. Did alot of drugs too. My risk appetite is/was higher then most.
I ride motorcycles; occasionally I grow horns and have had more then one or two close scrapes where I nearly ran out of talent.
As I get older, I'm getting a little wiser. Try to be a little more cautious but like I say, my risk appetite is fairly high...

Other than riding a motorcycle which I believe you do, a pursuit that doesn’t necessarily carry a high risk of killing you, I don’t think that there’s anyone on this forum who base jumps. I play Rugby. Low chance of death but in my years playing I’ve seen some horrible injuries
