Risk a great job for the sake of what? You're training for uniformed service not the Olympics. If you can't reach entry level fitness without peds get a job in a call centre. Might sound harsh, but true nonetheless.

So the guy makes his own choice rather than following the herd. How does that equate to having no balls? It often takes more strength of character to reverse a decision than to stick with a wrong one. If he feels it's not for him just now the right thing for him to do is stop. Nowt wrong with that at all.

Fvck off and stop being so dimwittedly obtuse. The OP is not ill and therefore has no business wasting his gp's time. End of story. If you want to condone him wasting NHS resources that is up to you but don't try and find an ethical rationale because there isn't one.

Not what you want to hear but tough s**t. The NHS is over stretched as it is and has far better things to do with its finite resources than pander to your non-therapeutic wishes. Go private if you can or go UGL but leave your GP out of it and let him focus on people with genuine health problems.

To be pedantic, religion exists beyond doubt. Whether the God(s) these religions believe in exist is another matter. I don't have a problem with people having a faith. It's when that faith takes precedence over science, the law, socially acceptable behaviour or the rights and freedoms of others that I have a problem. Evangelical atheists can be just as irritating and obnoxious as religious zealots.

For me, the only real benefit of whey is that it's one of the cheaper sources of protein. Once it goes above a certain price point I'd be better off all round buying meat, eggs, fish etc.

It wasn't your point at all. You demonstrated a clear lack of intelligence by assuming you knew how to measure real intelligence when you don't. Have a smiley seeing as your lack of intelligence is likely to lead you to wrongly believe that I'm being malicious toward you.

Now, what you need to ask yourself punk is, is my smiley sarcastic or do I actually have such a low regard for your intellect that I think you might need a pretty picture to help you figure out I'm not being serious.
Then, you need to ask yourself, Am I being sarcastic or am I actually being ironic? Do you know the difference? Do I? Does it matter?
    Fvck it! Have another smiley:

That's usually just well educated people, most people confuse information holding and repeating as a sign of intellect, as this is usually how schooling works for grades, however being truly smart imo is having the ability to solve complex problems etc using information you know,
thats why you can get people who have 10 A's at GCSE yet are complete retards in real life with no logical thinking

Ian_Montrose got a reaction from Tomahawk in The unbelievers - Netflix
Dawkins is just preaching to the choir which I personally consider a waste of energy. He could have summed up his argument in a few pages and had the same result - god-botherers would have dismissed his arguments and atheists would have agreed. Why churn out book after book and essay after essay for no added value other than dollars in his pocket?
I think we need to separate organised religion from personal faith because whilst they are closely related they are not the same.  For me organised religion is a political tool and a very powerful and dangerous one at that. Personal faith is, or should be, different but unfortunately it's manipulated by religious leaders for their own selfish ends. If only people who wish to believe in a god could figure out that they don't need anyone else telling them how to pray or what to do to keep their sky-pixie happy the world would be a much happier and more peaceful place.
It's not correct to say that everybody follows their parents religion. Often this is the case but not always. People do convert to different religions and on that note I find it interesting how many of the perpetrators of ISIS/AQ inspired terrorist attacks have been converts to Islam. My gut feel is they had pre-existing emotional or psychological issues that made them easy targets for the Jihadist puppet masters. Also note that, throughout history, whole populations have been converted to a particular religion, often by force, threat or power trades. Much of western Europe was converted to Christianity when the monarchs of the day recognized the benefit of a monotheist religion which conveniently gave them a divine right to rule - church and aristocracy colluding to control the masses with each getting a slice of the power pie.

Ian_Montrose got a reaction from bottleneck25 in Amazon prime now
It depends what you want out of it so it comes down to personal requirements and preference. I use Amazon Prime and take advantage of most of the service offering. I regularly buy goods off Amazon so the free next day delivery I get with Prime is a valuable benefit, my family also use the prime Video and Music streaming services and overall I am happy that I'm getting value for my £80 subscription. Is Prime Video the best video streaming service? Probably not. Is Prime Music the best? Also probably not.
Note that Spotify Premium is £10 per month so quite a bit (50% ?) dearer than Amazon Prime.
