    Diets been around 3200, 170g protein a day, 70/30 split with carbs and fats., iv been bulking, I'm almost 13 stone around 20% bodyfat

    Thats almost the same as what I do now, 3x8 sets/reps.. been working good but I'm kinda stalled weight wise last few weeks

    Hey guys, I'm seriously considering applying to be a fireman when the next recruitment drive starts, think it's in a few weeks time. Does anyone here do it or have any good advice about the application process? Iv heard the application is very harsh and most don't make it past that part ? I wish I tried years ago to get in but circumstances didn't allow me. I can't seem to find any application forms to see what's involved in them either.. Cheers

    hey, is there any supplements that will help keep muscles from cramping up whilst training? i'v noticed it more the past few weeks and it's now effecting my training.. can't squat due to my glutes cramping up and it becomes agony, cant even stand it's that bad and today my arms cramped up doing curls :s never had this issue before . any advice:(

    Just seems looking around and speaking to people it's based on your personality more than anything... I'm not a in your face type of person but I'm a grafter.. takes me a while to mix in a group as well but I'm fine once I feel comfortable. It's really something I'd like to go for but I already feel it's a waist of time..

  10. Shoulder exercise help

    Hi guys I'm after a bit of advice, I have a slight twisted ribcage so it means I don't have the same movement on my left shoulder, basically I can't push it straight up. Iv been doing seated Smyth machine presses, db raises in my ppl routine but feel my shoulders are lacking in size compaired to the rest of my arms. My left shoulder always feels awkward when isolating shoulders, any tips or advice on a good exercise to try? Thanks

  13. protein on a cut?

    just a quick question but do you still need to keep your protein intake to 1g per lbs of body weight whilst on a cut? I wont be pushing to increase weight/strength like I would on a bulk because I tried that on my last cut and it floored me every session due to lack of calories. cheers

    my shake twice a day.. 400ml full fat milk scoop protein powder, chocolate 100g oats 25ml evol blend for 30 secs... calories is 905

    I started taking taurine yesterday and added a electrolyte tablets to my water.. today trading was cramp free hopefully that's cured the issue.. cheers guys for the help

  22. Lifting and cutting

    Hey guys just a quick question. On a cut I know your not going to gain much if any muscle size or strength, so when your cutting do you just lift a moderate weight(comfy) or do you keep pushing to max out and increase the weight? Reason I'm asking is your going to be weaker so is it a case of just doing the motions to maintain what muscle you have?
  23. Back at it after 5 years off! 2 month Update

    Been back at the gym now for 2 months and enjoying it more now than I ever have. Starting to see changes, feel so much better for it physically and mentally.. only regret is that it took me 5 years to get back!

I'm not sure what body fat I am in the pic but I reckon 20%ish? I'm 5ft 9 and weight 12st 3 lbs just now. Diets going to be clean and starting with a full body workout routine as below.     Cheers buddy that's along the lines I was thinking, as long as your still working the muscle to maintain them but not pushing to the point of failure. I was always pushing as hard as possible on a cut and I was exhausting myself due to lack of calories, hope this will make it that bit easier ?
