    Managed to
    Incline BB 160kgx4  (bench set just above 45deg)
    DB shoulder press 60kg x3 and 55kg x12
    DL 275kg x1 (was s**t form but can’t complain being 16/17 yo)

    Haven’t Flat BB in 2 years, even 60kg feels weird fuckin lol. My hammies/lower back cramp up so forever do incline now. Or slight incline on smith machine

    Yes mate exactly. I'm a strong believer in micro loading, usually 2.5kg jumps at a time, even 1kg if needed, progression is progression. I've found to be less injury prone this way and not run into chronic joint pain. I take 4-5 days off lifting every 4-5 weeks too, along with stretching daily which I believe to have had a profound effect.

    I wouldn’t stretch personally mate. Activate instead.
    On flat bench I have no problems at all, it’s purely on incline and it’s more getting in to position than inability to retract.
    For activation I do some 1 arm lat pull down contractions, rear flies and face pulls, all with bands. Just 1 set of 10 for each.
