Hope she’s up and about soon.
From reading about the vaccine trials, a number of the 40,000 trial recipients did indeed still catch Covid but none to the extent that they needing admitting to hospital.

Was it really that busy though? I’m sure there will be a graph produced on here soon showing that it’s not really that busy all over the country & that it is in fact quieter than other years.

I see Saga have stated that you MUST be vaccinated before going on their cruise ships now, the start of things to come maybe & other companies will follow.

More so than first lockdowns I am seeing on my local news, interviews with relatives of people who are fit & well but dying from this latest strain (43 year old firefighter as one example) If we ease lockdown the NHS would collapse & you could forget routine ops, people will die at home & on the roadside from accidents. Ambulances will be swamped with patients fighting for breath from Covid or whatever you believe this to be (pneumonia from breathing in your own disease whilst wearing a mask or whatever latest theory might be)
Businesses will suffer beyond belief & not for me personally but I fear the situation now is critical.

Encouraging working from home and minimising contact with others is helping. But not necessarily the lockdown (which for those still unable to work from home or work at all, changes very little).  I still think it’s abit nonsensical the extent of restrictions on all.. but I’m not a selfless/heartless person ignorant to the deaths.. but At the same time I need my livelihood/career back at some point.

One expert today reports that Lockdown simply isn’t working.
Recently a member of my family suffered a stroke & the Ambulance took 3 hours to arrive, it was a crew not familiar with the area & asked directions to the hospital.
A friend of mine’s mother fell the other day at home breaking her hip & the wait was 4 hours, not BS this is fact.
If we took lockdown off what state would the NHS be in? Surely in the above cases the wait would be such that it becomes life threatening.

    Hey guys.
I got some reflex Pre Workout stuff this week. Tried it for the first time today. Oh wow! It's amazing. First time I've ever used it and boy will I be continuing it.
What do you guys think? Have also got some of their whey protein. Yet to see the results.
It's good trying different brands every now and again.
If there is a better one that I could be using then please let me know as I'm still relatively new to all this..

Apparently most people who get it are. I gave up smoking 15+ years ago and they didn’t think it was connected - just unlucky. I remained anxious about it coming back and the surgeon simply said, it’s the guys who keep smoking that I end up operating on again - even the ones that cut right down. Only stopping completely reduces the risk. Tell your mate to give his head a wobble.
The other guys in my 4 bed ward all ended up with temporary tracheotomies - poor sods were choking all night - it was awful. I was lucky - lost about a quarter of my tongue and and all the lymph nodes out of my neck which damages nerves in your face and shoulder. Took a bit to get over but all good now - even speech fully recovered. Getting back into weight-training as quickly as possible after the operation was definitely a good move in ensuring a full recovery for the nerves, mobility and strength. I’m like it never happened now apart from the massive scar down my neck.

Do you know what prompted me to go? Had a message from an ex colleague who told me of one of our friends in his 30’s just recovering from cancer of the mouth, required his jaw bone to be replaced with thigh bone, completely rebuilt with new teeth, he is a smoker.

He might save your life one day. Went to see mine a couple of years back and mentioned a sore on the side of my tongue. Thankfully he referred me urgently for biopsy and I was able to get in for surgery and treatment for cancer at a very early point. Couple of other fellas in the ward said they had had toothache that turned out to be cancer of the jaw. Definitely worth staying on the right side of your dentist.

On another subject I went to my NHS Dentist today as they are open Sunday due to backlog. Sure I am going to have nightmares tonight with the dentist & nurse leaning over my face like a scene from Breaking Bad with those respirator type masks. Dentist also had lights in the glasses & was of course armed with a drill, proper scary as I don’t like the dentists at the best of times.

I promote supplements having used them for over 35 years, it’s not ethical for me to criticise another brand but I’m sure others on here will be along soon to tear that product apart for you.
