  1. Do you purchase supplements online or in a shop? Recent research shows that 13 main supplement shops across the UK account for 35% of supplements sold & with city centres being less populated due to Covid it’s thought that online shopping will increase. Do you use the same online retailer or shop around for deals or do you like the personal touch & product advice in store?
  2. Smart Body Fat Scales

Looking for recommendations: Digital scales for home use but with BMI etc etc
  3. The Death of Supplement Shops?

I like Holland & Barrett too as they allow me to demonstrate what a great deal you get with my discount code, often get youngsters contact me when they can’t afford their prices or understand the info they gave them.

  6. Instant Whey Pro

Back on this old favourite - £33 for 88 servings (message me for discount code) The main ingredients in INSTANT WHEY™ PRO are whey isolates which are 90% protein. Some brands include these, but currently none use native whey isolate as a main ingredient; this is the ultimate A+ grade whey protein that is extracted directly from fresh skimmed milk at low temperature using ultra and cross-flow microfiltration resulting in a product that contains up to 166% more bioavailable cystine and 16% more leucine in comparison to other forms of whey. INSTANT WHEY™ PRO also includes the new improved super CFM whey protein isolate, hydrolysed whey proteins and pure undenatured whey protein concentrate - all European sourced and guaranteed to be completely free from rBST, antibiotics and other unwanted impurities.
  7. Sad news The firm, which was founded by former Wigan Athletic owner Dave Whelan, ran 73 gyms and 75 shops across the UK but announced plans to shut 25 of its outlets last month. Image:DW Sports stressed its sister company, Fitness First, is unaffected It stressed its sister company, Fitness First, will continue to operate as a separate firm and its 43 clubs will be unaffected by the administration.
  8. Instant Whey Pro

Flavours have improved as well, I am really enjoying Mint Cream at the moment.
  9. Protein Bars

Reflex R Bar Nutrition Details - The main ingredients in our R-Bars are whey protein from grass-fed cows, gluco fibre, almonds, cocoa butter, cocoa powder, water, natural flavourings and natural sweetener stevia. Absolutely no palm oil is used, R-Bars are also free from genetically-modified ingredients, corn syrup/solids, glucose syrup, invert syrup, preservatives, artificial flavours, artificial colours, artificial sweeteners, soy protein and any whey or milk protein not proven to be free from rBGH (recombinant bovine growth hormone). R-Bars are made from whey protein concentrates, which has a very high biological value and are created by separating whey from milk during the cheese-making process. During the cheese-making process, milk is separated to form curds and whey. The whey is collected and treated to get it to its most pure form. We use almond or peanut butter in our protein bars; by roasting whole nuts with their skins on, before grinding them to a fine butter, this is the purest natural nut butter, with absolutely nothing else added. Nut butters are also a good natural source of poly and mono unsaturated fats, fibre, magnesium and vitamin E.
  10. Protein Bars

Trying these for the first time in 4 different flavours, what’s your goto bar for a convenient 20g of Protein whilst on the go?
  11. Protein Bars

If you bought a box, bearing in mind they are only £13 & you didn’t like the flavour, could you sell on at the gym & recoup. Choc Peanut Caramel will be next for me.
  12. Digezyme

Does you Protein Shake contain Digezyme? Most know the benefits of this supplement for improved mineral absorption & easing discomfort for those with lactose intolerance but studies show the benefit for DOMS
  13. Ah yes I forgot about the cookies
  14. Yep, not uncommon for Americans to consume a pint of ice cream in one sitting so why not design a tub slightly less for us Brits as we head towards an obesity crisis.
  15. To put the 800 calories into perspective, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is obviously sized to be consumed by an obese person in one sitting and is often sold alongside really unhealthy foods such as pizza in a meal deal. I know people who have said that they can easily do a tub solo whilst watching tv, (another problem with unconscious eating) A tub is 1200 calories.
  16. Digezyme

How much are you guys taking each time? I am getting 50mg twice a day in my Instant Whey Pro, study for DOMS is 50mg x 3 but in all of our cases I guess that is a secondary benefit with stomach issues the priority.
  17. Deals on whey at moment?

Stomach issues (minor IBS & slight lactose intolerance) require me to settle for a good quality product mainly isolate based with digestive enzymes.
  18. When you stare at this photo for 30 seconds Just part of my research for my Nutrition studies so thoughts welcome

  20. Will probably depend on whether there will be outbreaks of infection at gyms who subsequently close under track & trace. If several gyms close it will hit the headlines & be publicised which ever way the government want it.
  21. Sage advise Gyms close again

They may leave gyms alone unless like the pubs we get a few closing due to members being infected, surprised that hasn’t happened already actually, especially in some of the bigger chains. They must have members attending who have it.
  22. Pubs may shut to allow Schools to reopen

So it could be the pubs closing or the 50’s & overs asked to stay in, either way it looks as if something has to give. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8584445/Over-50s-face-stay-home-order-nuclear-plans-drawn-Boris-Johnson.html?fbclid=IwAR03e7iCp_iVUQed5VLjVmgAdmbGgmcGb3xnGBYBa_-R-R9UxWCow3KaPvE
  23. My local Poundland has just announced it’s closing down forever due to Covid, there is no hope
