Be hydrated. Do you cardio. Eat like an adult. Don't stay "on" (blasting/cycling) year round. Plenty of supplements that will "help" with damage limitation but none that will 100% stop it. Don't be 300lbs. Oh, and have great genetics.
It's not rocket science, really. It's just a game of chance and that means it boils down to your risk appetite.
In fairness, not burying you head in the sand and actually asking the question is a positive step that very few take, so kudos for the post.
TITO reacted to JohhnyC in I used to eat 3-4 times per week on average
it's the law of diminishing returns. 500g of anything will give a fine boost. Maybe up to perhaps 20% (first cycle) But doubling it will probably increase it to say 30% if that. Sides magnify out too especially with orals as the liver is highly resilient at removing toxins, can repair quite quickly but can also quickly start to struggle and fail at higher doses if running sustained periods
also deflating like a ballon is mentally tough once you come off.
I don't see why anybody would go past a gram if it's just a hobby only. Each to their own of course
TITO reacted to safc49 in Coldplay “Talk” lyrics
Yeah definitely can't have been good news. "Oh brother, I can't, I can't get through
I've been trying hard to reach you 'cause I don' know what to do
Oh brother, I can't believe it's true
I'm so scared about the future, and I wanna talk to you
Oh, I wanna talk to you You can take a picture of something you see
In the future where will I be?
You can climb a ladder up to the sun
Or a write a song nobody has sung
Or do something that's never been done Are you lost or incomplete?
Do you feel like a puzzle, you can't find your missing piece?
Tell me, how do you feel?
Well, I feel like they're talking in a language I don't speak
And they're talking it to me So you take a picture of something you see
In the future where will I be?
You can climb a ladder up to the sun
Or write a song nobody has sung
Or do something that's never been done
Or do something that's never been done So you don't know where you're going and you wanna talk
And you feel like you're going where you've been before
You tell anyone who'll listen, but you feel ignored
Nothing's really making any sense at all, let's talk
Let's talk, let's talk, let's talk"

Maybe email a decent tattoo artist or go on a tattoo forum instead of gen con section of a roider forum where most members don’t lift and talk about bumming men.
TITO reacted to Pscarb in Who's itching to start dieting in the new year.
Nothing at all, Peds have no influence on the strategy to get the client lean/stage-ready.
I never said I kept dropping calories, the key is a Calorie Deficit dropping calories is not the only way to achieve this.
Because for me it makes no sense when the goal is to achieve fat loss whilst maintaining muscle tissue, going 16hrs with no protein at all, in my opinion, does not achieve the goal, weight loss is different.
I never used IF when I competed nor did a lot of my friends who competed, I never use it with my clients unless the situation warrants it, I am not saying it does not work, I am saying it is not optimal for fat loss whilst maintaining muscle tissue.
i don't use fasted cardio unless it fits with the client's lifestyle, I don't remove food groups, I don't remove diary, with some clients they only have 3-4 meals......here is the shocker i don't even use Carbs in the Post-workout meal , the reason is it is not needed in the grand scheme of things.
I do with some clients use hand portion sizes rather than tracking with Macro's or Calories again this is down to the client.
As I said before though if the way you get lean works for you then its a cool way to do things.
TITO reacted to PSevens2017 in Jogging - what's the best option?
Best option is the jog a mile and then increase either distance and/or the reduce the next time you run it. Progression. In other words stop being so fcuking lazy and make an effort to get fit.
Would say the same as @invisiblekid and mix up distances, intensity and time you give yourself to recover before running again. Creates adaptation.
Same with resistance weight training, adaption is the goal. Heart and lung adaptation in both input/outpuT and recovery will improve health and performance.
Steady state for 30mins x 3-4 times a week is most likely best for overall health. Heart rate at 140-160bpm.

Re your recents comments about zinc..
If the upper safe dose is circa 20mg a day, why do some companies (reputable ones like life extensions for example) make 50mg tabs?
Añso, what are the long term risks of zinc overconsumption? A quick tot up of my dietary zinc and supplements puts me at about 60mg daily right now.
Many thanks for your time, brother.

TITO reacted to Toranator in Did steroids give the desired results
18 months off now.
No, didn't get the results I wanted looking back.
Size, others commented all the time but I never felt big or anything other than normal.
Strength went up for sure but not as much as id of thought, maybe 10-20kg across the board, big movements that is. Felt my Delts were the most effected.
Others saw me bigger stronger etc, like I said everyone who saw me day to day always commented and also got comments off random people (queuing up to go watch football etc security would comment)
Mentally, tren f**ked with me tried it twice only managed 7 weeks then 4 weeks vowed to never touch the stuff again sent me mental and couldn't sleep for 2 weeks whilst it was wearing off the 2nd time round.
Erm maybe got more respect off people, liek I said I was never massive strong or anything but I could tell others were staring at me when it was summer and I'm sweating like a pig with a vest on and my Delts popping etc, probably the sweat patches looking back...
Changes in my life.... Definitely unfit, I didn't do cardio back then so I can't 100% say its down to the steroids however when I was just less heavy on steroids like when I cut I felt healthier and could hold a conversation walking whereas when I was bulked up to my heaviest (196lbs at 5ft9 but average I'd say was about 186 eating maintenance/getting protein in and just eating whatever else but 80% healthy veg fruit no processed) I was out of breath walking and talking.
Tough one... Would I take them again or do things differently... I reckon I'd of not bothered however being smaller now due to off gear (pfp is recent condition size 170lbs) I do often think right do things differently now don't pile so many calories in, modest 300mg cycle just for the enhanced test but nothing like before (900-1200mg total weekly dosages then 100\125mg cruises for like 18-24months at a time) maybe it'd work.
Felt my best around 13 stone (182lbs) that was a mix between having decent abs nothing amazing. But also having strength size vascularity definition etc, so if I do jump back on again I'll shoot for around this weight and eat maintenance (+-200cals) with progressive overload and try slowly slowly gain oppose to smashing 4-5k cals a day and bulking then down to 2k and cutting 20lbs....learnt a lot since then definitely wasted a lot.
