Whats the best mineral and vitamin supplement?

I'm looking to purchase a multi vitamin/mineral supplement and was looking for some opinions on what to buy.

I noticed some in boots today called "complete a-z", boots's own brand. Any opinions on this product?

I use the Aldi multivits, only £1.99 for 30, and they are really good. But Tesco have a 3 for 2 offer on, on vitamins, so I'd go there, i brought 270 for a little over a fiver.

Great, cheers for the advice guys.

Would an all in 1 supplement be enough or should I take in more of certain vits? I know lots of people take extra vitamin c etc. but is it necessary?

I think a good multi-vitamin is fine mate.

Im currently taking 1000mg Multi-Vitamin once per day. And 1000mg EPA/DHA Fish Oil & 600mg Glucosamine twice per day.

All from morrisons.

I do not rate Boots and Tesco's own brand at all. Compare them to the ingredient profile for something like Orange Triad below and you can see they do not measure up at all:

I agree, the tesco and Boots ones are just cheap sh!te.

I would not touch orange triad either. Di-calcium phosphate is a known antagonist of vitamins and minerals. Kind of defeating the purpose taking a product with that ingredient.

Have a read of this;
