![]() | Try Quinoa - Superfood Has anybody tried Quinoa yet? if not you need to get on it, its considered a superfood - up there with eggs and watercress. Unbelievably good for u and tastes great. Best amino acid profile out there. It's pronounced 'keenwah' - a South American grain eaten by the aztecs and is avaliable in healthfood stores and supermarkets everywhere now. Google it, or for quick info: http://www.quinoa.net/Nutrition_Fact...ion_facts.html http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?t...spice&dbid=142 Recipes: http://www.channel4.com/entertainmen...ye/quinoa.html Heres my own: 1 small courgette chopped 1/2 medium onion chopped handful sliced mushrooms approx. 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon tomato paste 1-2 cloves fresh garlic, pressed or minced few drops Tabasco 1 cup cooked Quinoa Stirfry all veg, add sauces and tomato paste then add the Quinoa, Stirfry for 2 mins then serve with egg or fish salad etc. Good mixed with Bulgar wheat when cooking the Quinoa I actually eat it plain with a piece of chicken. It tastes nutty. Seriously healthy tack! |
