Hello Gang.

We are currently doing some upgrades to our database which means there may be a VERY small security leak for about 5 minutes during the upgrade.

Due to various Data protection issues I MUST tell you to delete all your Private messages, inbox, outbox, stored messages, recipets, etc, etc.

There is a very very very slim chance that anyone will gain access to your PM's (like 0.0000000000000000000000001%) but never-the-less I still need to ask you to clear them.

At 4.00pm (GMT) on Wednesday 8th August i will be running a MASS PRUNE on all PM`s.

This means anything you have not jotted down or saved somewhere on your PC will be deleted, forever.

I am not going to tell you the exact time we will be performing the upgrade, or deletion, but if you aint saved it by the above time, your gonna lose it.

paul did you send out a test pm to people by any chance? my folder says i have 23 stored messages but nothing in the inbox or sent items, i had a message this morning saying i have a new pm but theres nothing there? there was also no user name or title in the message alert so i figured it must be admin?

I think it just says that until you actually receive a PM since the deletion.
Mine kept saying 78 but there was nothing there, i pressed delete all anyway, didnt make any diff.

As soon as i got a PM it reset back to having 1.

As AH said.

There was a slight hiccup with the counters when the maintenence was performed.

It will still show your total PM count before the deletion untill your receive a new PM and/or delete what you have in there now.
