| Administrator  | Important - Picture Filesize Limit There is now a 200k filesize limit on any image upload. This is done purely for the benefit of keeping the board as quick as possible. We have over quarter of a million page views a month and with more and more people posting pics (which is a good thing!) we need to ensure that the board remains as quick as possible. If anyone has problems resizing pics then post up what software you are using and I'm sure there will be people who are familiar with it and can guide you - it is going to be far better if you learn how to do it than having to rely on someone else each time you want to post images.    | lol ^^^^^ would that be a dig? i have no interest in learning how to resize pics, your right it would be better if we all knew how to do it, but im way to busy with family life, work, training, college that i have no or very little time to spend trying to learn how to resize pics. If i get free time i want it to be that ( free time ), but i know where your coming from. I was merely trying to inform the members and guests on how one of our guys did in a show. It was also nice of you to congratulate Raikey on his performance. ps lol lorian couldnt you resize them for me?

| It is not that difficult Right click on pic you want to resize in you files, and OPEN WITH and send it to whatever software package. Most microsoft has Microsoft Photoeditor In Microsoft photoeditor CLICK IMAGE Scroll down to RESIZE This is the annoying bit as the size is in CMs in mine, but I don't use all that often, MAKE it smaller Check the size by right clicking on the pic, scroll down to properties, which will tell you the dimensions in pixels and the total file size CLICK on FILE Scroll to SAVE AS and give another name or sometimes it just comes up as the name and then (2) if you don't want the pic overwritten IN CORAL Click PHOTO SCROLL down to RESIZE This one will do the resize in pixels (what is 200 MG Lorian 800 x 1000 pixels?) Change the pic size by putting the cursor on the up or down arrows or typing in the max size requirement. Click on FILE Scroll down to SAVE AS Give new name or just OK the one it gives (it does that 2 thing) Bob's your uncle and Fanny is your aunt. Dead easy. If you are mentally capable of learning how to use a digital camera and how to transfer pics from a memory card to your PC then you are quite capable of learning how to resize pics. There is a free program from Google called Picasa (do a search for it) that will enable you to resize pics very easily. All you do is click 'Export' from the 'File' menu. Quote:

In the time it took you to post this thread bitching at me you could have probably downloaded a free program and learnt to resize pics, now, wouldn't that have been a more constructive use of your busy time.. | all taken on board but as i said im not interested and niether are you so thats fine, next time i,ll do text and not worry about pics and all will be happy. And i dont take things to personally, its no skin of my nose whether the pics are there or not. and whilst im just looking at this, i wasnt bitching at anyone, and i was under the impression managing the board was an admin / mod issue.

 | If anyone has problems and cant find the time to resize send them to me hackskii@yahoo.com I will fix it up. I usually just fixed them up as I came accross them. I just do that cuz I feel sorry for the guys on dialup and the picture was several hundred k's.
