I'm guessing it's aimed at the Chinese Market, they'd eat that in a heartbeat, trust me I live in hong kong most of the time and I bet that sells there. Most disgusting thing I've tried in HK is Goose feet, and I'll eat pretty much anything but after I bit down on the foot the texture just made me remove it from my mouth in disgust!!You're meant to bite down and strip the skin off it!! It's a deliciousy in China! The Chinese love bones, skin and fat more than they do the meat..yes seriously! Even fish bones and fish heads! They would think us weird just wanting a breast of chicken with no bones skin etc.

Yum,these are goose feet, these actually look 100 times better than the one I tried,at least this is cooked in stuff

These are Chicken feet, the chinese love these also, they are slighty smaller and cheaper in price than goose feet!

I actually enjoy eating this, its very nice. I like to warm up the fat and drink that aswel.

ive also tried blending the whole contents of the can and downing it. Good for a quick protien fix.

Hang on a mo - that Sweet Sue brand may well be rank - but canned whole chickens were a great standby from the time canning was invented about 200 years ago because few people had refrigerators. Even Mrs Beeton features them. All the great expeditions carried them.

A good-quality cleaned whole chicken cooked in its own juices and sealed in a can can't be bad!

The idea wasn't necessarily to eat them cold, but re-heated - once only - as a sort of stew. Of course there'll be lots of jelley and fat, but that can be discarded as required.
