PHOTOBUCKET W@NKERS!!!!!!!!

35 posts in this topic

Periodically I have had photos deleted by photobucket for violating terms of use.... generally these are gym progress pics in which am wearing a thong.... well you can clearly see they aren't anything sexual as am holding bb'ing poses etc but am not gonna argue....

However, recently they have taken to deleting bodybuilding competition photos!!!!

I've had a whole bunch from Saturday deleted where I am wearing a one-piece suit which isn't even thong-backed! To add insult to injury, half of them were from the fcking waist up!

I know Avril has had a load deleted from her account too of the mens classes.

FFS.... these are family shows, you can clearly see this and that there is nothing dodgy going on.

I've emailed them to complain (vociferously I may add) but I doubt they'll reply.... shower of fcking tw@ts.... :cursing:

I'm aware of one other site that doesn't delete photos www.pimpandhost.com but its not particularly user friendly or easy to use.... does anyone know of a better one?

Am MIGHTY p1ssed off.... I have years and years worth of photos on photobucket and it'll be a total pain in the bloody ass moving to a different site :cursing::cursing::cursing::ban:

They may use software similar to what our company does when we send emails, it scans the images and if it detects a certain percentage of flesh tones either in colour or black & white, it then deems them as inappropriate and deletes them!

It's a proper pain in the pooper shooter!

Yes, if they are personal pics...

but to load them onto the internet forums etc you need somewhere to host the pics.

Flickr is pretty good but i use imageshack.

It still makes no sense to me?

Every forum I have ever used always gives the option of uploading a picture via a URL or from your own computer??

That uses up a lot of the forum's bandwidth which if it's busy can begin to get expensive. Hosting them with a third party gets round this. Generally you can only upload a handful of files as attachments as well so if you've got 50+ contest pics it isn't much use.

My webspace is 50 quid a year for 2gb webspace and about the same per month in bandwidth (i think). It's quite cheap if you can be bothered.

Thank you :thumbup1:

Shall investigate that one :)

Remarkably.... photobucket did reply.

I have however fired of a response that will make the recipient feel they suddenly have a new bottom hole pmsl.....

This is what it said:

Dear zara@*************.com,

Your account contained images which violate our Terms of Use. These Terms apply to all users regardless of the Public/Private setting of the account.

When you created the account, you agreed to abide by these terms and we clearly explained the consequences of violating those terms.

The Photobucket.com Terms of Use, found at http://www.photobucket.com/terms, reflect that policy by giving Photobucket the right to remove content that, among other things, (a) it deems unlawful, obscene, harmful, threatening, defamatory, or hateful; (B) invades the privacy of any third party; © contains nudity, illustrated nudity, pornography, illustrated pornography, child erotica, or child pornography; or

(d) Photobucket deems otherwise objectionable.

Sincerely,

Your Photobucket Support Team

I sent them a photo that they had deleted (now I see mysteriously UN-deleted.... hmmmm :sneaky2:) In fact this was the photo and underneath their reply.....

DSC01219.jpg

Dear Physique,

That particular image was not removed by us. The two images removed contain the same woman from a front point of view. The bottom of the bathing suit exposes too much of the pelvic area. The pelvic bone area must be completely covered.

Sincerely,

Your Photobucket Support Team
