ANABOLIC DIET

anyone tried the anabolic diet, im thinkin of doing it as im going on holiday in 8 weeks and wanna cut some fat.

0% fat, 35% protein, and only 5%

only30g carbs a day

but weekend as much carbs as you like

Weekdays

Breakfast

? Four eggs

? Six slices of bacon

? Two ounces of cheese

Lunch

? Hamburger steak

? Cheese

? Sugar-free Jell-O with whipped cream

Snack

? Pepperoni

? String cheese

Post-workout shake

? Two-scoop serving of Grow!

Dinner

? Sirloin steak or fish (sometimes both)

Snack

? Cheese

? Pistachios

Supplements

? Fish-oil capsules

? Multivitamin with extra antioxidants

? Soluapsyllium

? Caffeine tablets

Weekends

Breakfast

? Cereal and nonfat milk or pancakes

Lunch

? Pasta with shrimp

? Breadsticks

Snack

? Fruit or bagels

Dinner

? Pizza

? Beer

? Cheap slut, if available

Supplements

? Power Drive (to combat the mental effects of the sudden carb intake)

0% fat? mate you need to look at the macros a little closer I think. That plan is high in fat.

Plus, you eat more in the week than you do on the weekend - is this correct?

I am confused.

pepperoni, burger steak, bacon??!! all of these are fatty and that not the healthy fats you want. I think you need to clean it up alil bit if you want to lose bf. what about cardio?

its a keto diet been around for a while. like atkins but with weekend carb loads

it works but not a long term plan i think

sorry was 60% i just copied and pasted it.

im trying 2 design a meal plan but

i dunno how to do it,

dunno how many calories to have and how many meal, with how many calories and also what to eat.

only thing i cud do wud be the 6 eggs lol, im allergic to seeds and nuts lol,

also i only want 2 do it for 8 weeks

well yeah proper keto diets are very high fat moderate protein and next to no carbs.

most people on here are familiar with dp diet which is focused around healthier fats. google 'anabolic diet' if your interested

yes it will work but its easier said than done. if you keep messing it up and eating carbs its pointless and will be counter productive

what can i eat that will give me 1300cal protein 1900 fat 0 carb.

50g protein, 30g fat 0g carb in every meal?

look at food labels but chicken, whey , beef etc

add olive oil at 15g fat and 100 cals per tablespoon to make up fat to required amount.

you need to reaserch yourself

Depends on the sausages - as wardster says look at the labels.

You want to stay under 30g carbs - cheap sausages contain breadcrumbs and rusks.

well its from a meat whole saler butchers near me i bought a meat tray for £5o it was sausages, steakettes, t bone steak, belly pork, burgers, chicken.

It doeswork, I lost loads of fat and kept a fair amount of muscle. Combine it with lots of cardio (65% of max heart rate - Fat burn), weights, and use CLA (a fat loss supp) and perhaps an ECA stack.

But sticking to the diet is most important, as apose to supplements for fat loss.

Its a shame you are alergic to nuts because I used lots of natural peanut butter when on this diet. Its very HARD to keep to. I managed 8 weeks then stopped. Tried again recently and only managed 2 weeks properly. Been on/off the past 2weeks, but getting focused the next 2 weeks.

done cardio last 2 days, i have been on 2x bike rides consiting of 1 and halfs, also was taking clenburexin but stopped coz thought wasnt doing anything

im going on a similar diet on monday.

i have been gradually cutting carbs out and increasing fats im consuming around 3100 cals a day maybe little more. think i have found my maintenence cals as im staying at 15st. im gonna drop cals to around 2800 and increase cardio.

diet will be 6.45 6 eggs 4 yolks fish oil caps

945 250g turkey 35g butter cayenne pepper fish oil caps

1245 270g salmon cayenne pepper

1545 50g micro whey iso 2 tbs olive oil

1845 50g micro whey iso 2tbs olive oil

2100 250g lean mince handfull fish oil caps

between 1545 and 1845 i will be training 6 days a week 30 min weights 40 min cardio

im gonna experiment with 30g carbs before and during workout which is a double serving of tri matrix . the carbs should be burnd up by the time the cardio is done so hopefully insulin levels should be back down. im not sure weather to add the fat to pwo. this is replacing 50g carbs im currently using pwo. i have dropped 10lbs so far but like i said hit a platau so hopefully should take things further with this approach
