Is it just where I live - admits thats in the sticks :whistling: - or has the weather destroyed the already bad roads?

Ive got lowered suspension and low profile tyres so when I go over a pot hole its like a bomb going off under my car.

Same here.

Not good on 215/35/18 tyres and rock hard suspension.

Its everywhere.

The continual freeze/thaw we've had has ruined the roads.

Issue now is, with all the government cut backs, they arnt going to be sorted any time soon.

Yeah its such a bad time to happen. What I find annoying is when they fill with water and you don't realize how deep they are until you go through them!

Funnily enough mate, our council has actually asked people to fill the pot holes in their streets as they don't have the funds to fill every single one in! I mean i think that is just an insult. What the hell do i pay road tax for if it's not to maintain the roads. I'm driving as if i'm on a slalem course at the minute cos of them.

Even worse with 255's on the back lol.

The roads are horrendous around my area, every single road has big pot holes. My mate went over one and it buckled his alloy and the tyre popped off.

If it damages your car send the recipt to the Council along with a photo of the pothole and they'll settle the bill plus fill the pothole in. I've had 2 knuckle joints fitted onto my car due to one pothole at the end of our road, I took a photograph and sent it into the Council with the bill for repairs to my car. Within 2 days they were filling the pothole in.

I did this with Rochdale council.

They told me to stick it up my bum because the wheels weren't the originals for the car.

watch out if you do decide to fill in any potholes as if anyone else damages there car you will get the bill for it.

My wife filled in a pothole outside our home as we were sick of reporting it and getting sod all back so filled it with sharpsand and leveled it.

Guess what some moron crashed his car down the road and blamed our fix as the reason for it so we are now fighting this.

If you can prove it's damaged your car mate then yeah. A mate of mine ripped his exhaust off going down Brick Kiln Lane, he sent the bill along with a photo of the road hump to Mansfield Council, they came out and repaired the sides of the road hump, all the tarmac had come away. 2 weeks later they sent him a cheque for the exhaust.
