Right, so I've got around 3k to spend on a new car, I'm only 19 (2years no claims) so insurance is the main factor here (ie. nothing powerful)

I've had my car since I passed when I was 17 and would like something different, had a 106 :)

I know 3k isn't an awful lot either

Cheers

£3k is more than enough for a decent car.

Do you have any specific requirements mate? (EG) Comfort, handling, aesthetics?

Thanks for the reply mate..

Well I don't care about comfort, I'd like something which looks the dogs - for the money (show off :P ) and something with a half decent engine (again insurance etc)

-Not a boy racer at all, so don't want anything like a redtop corsa for example :)

I should think around 1800k? Which puts it out the price range really :/

Are there any nice VW's? Polo gti maybe?

Quite like Jap cars, I'd want a type R though after owning that for more than a month :/ -tad unrealistic perhaps?

You tell me mate -you know yourself better than I do!

My Spannish suggestion? Crap pic tbh but this looks like a wee cracker.

1.2 Ibiza - £3000 on the nose so prob about £2850ish

AND DO NOT SAY YOU'D WANT A CUPRA!!! Haha!

Seat leon 1.9 TDi 110, Golf MK4 1.9 TDi 110 good cars and isurance would not be to bad for you because they are group 6.

OH MAN!! I completely forgot about cupra's haha! Thats my fav suggestion so far.. gonna look into them :)

- I looked at the 106 gti, could get insured fully comp for 1k, which isn't bad for my age/engine - Only reason Im not too sure, is I already have a 106 and it wouldn't be much different..

Polo GTIs are slow and heavy so I've never paid them any attention.

You sound like you need a VTS in your life -an no not a C2.... a real VTS!

Something like mine

Cheaper to insure than the 106 GTI tbh, and more modern looking imo.

Yeahh, I can stretch above 3k, but I'd prefer not too :)

Thats nice man, although I would feel all dirty owning one, seeing as I'm a 106 man ;) - I was a member of 106owners :D
