| Your Friendly neighbourhood pusha! | Dude! now thats a weight gainer!! and i thaught the the Dymatise Mega Gainer was bad enough! (im using at the mo!) and then they recomend this: For the Ultimate Mega Gainer Shake: Add 4 heaping scoops to 20 oz. non-fat milk, 2 cups low fat ice cream, 2 bananas, 2 tablespoons unsalted peanut butter, 5 tablespoons honey and 3 tablespoons brewers yeast. Mix in blender until you have desired consistency. Now you have 3,000 calories, 507 grams carbs and 126 grams of protein! Last edited by the_gre8t_1ne; 21-12-2006 at 02:06 PM. |

Everyone loved the Mega Gainers when we first got them in, sold like hot cakes. I really like Dymatize products tbh, they are very good. | |

| Banned | With regards to the carb content in your respective gainers - are they made up mostly of high-glycemic maltodextrin? I got a gainer too, but I was dissapointed that the carbs were of the sugary kind that promote insulin spikes - great post-workout, but you don't want your insulin levels all over the place throughout the day. I'm concerned that drinking these high-glycemic products throughout the day will promote fat storage, lethargy or even potentially lead to diabetes - all by-products of shagged insulin levels. |
