why mix it the night before when you have a chance of the protein de-grading or seperating from the liquid when it takes 2min to make it fresh in the morning??

I agree with this.

Make it as late as you can before consuming it. If you have no choice but to make it up earlier (for instance if you're on the road), then fair enough. But if you're near a blender anyway, just make it up before you drink it.

Do you guys then just drink it down after blending or allow the bubbles to settle for a while. I was led to believe that the bubbles are not good for the digestive system.

I just like to have everything prepared the night before (not just food), otherwise I'd probably never leave the house!

Don't mix it the night before, would you pour a glass of water the night before or would you prefer it fresh?

With regards to the bubbles, all i can say is think Aero.

Protein can not go off in powdered form, only when mixed up.

I didn't know that. I always mixed it the night before to save time. Is it alright to mix up a shake of oats and water the night before?

Have you any figures on this? (I'm not being cheeky here - I'd really like to know at what rate this occurs.)

Life is about trade-offs as far as I'm concerned. If it only makes a couple of percentage points of difference over eight hours, that would be insignificant to me and the convenience would win, but if it was more I'd rethink.

Cheers.
